The tower whirled around as you were transported to Shapuro.

All things were done in silence.

No one spoke.

And if they did you couldn't hear them.

All you could hear was the whispering of- 'She took my alpha-' 'She took what was mine.' 'My Solunar is gone.'

It was as if snidely demons were speaking it to you. Saying it right next to you like a chorus.

"You think you should hide those?"

Someone broke through the repeating words that tickled your ears, but you could still hear them in the background.

"Hide what." You questioned plainly.

"The monsters..." You finally realized it was Megumi who was speaking to you. "...They may think you're a witch. And then we have a repeat of a town mob with pitchforks and torches…”

You looked toward the creatures that loomed around you, swaying in the darkness. Their glowing eyes scattered around in the blend. You didn’t know where one monster began and the next one ended.

'Hide.'

You spoke the command in your mind, and they seemed to adhere to it. They all slid toward your shadow, disappearing inside of it much like Rika does.

"There." You moved toward the exit, but Yuta halted you with a hand.

"...Wait…Was it you? That sent those...Things?”He questioned, eyeing your shadow.

"No. I didn't."

"Do you know who did...?"

"Whoever your grandmother pissed off." You left Yuta with that.

You weren’t going to tell him the truth.

After tonight, you almost sympathized with the fucking villain; Kenjaku must have had a good reason to want that old woman dead.

Fuck her and her family.

'I shouldn't have saved them.'

‘Should have left them for dead.’

‘My alpha is gone because of them.’

That's right. If you hadn't saved them, you wouldn't have been in this situation in the first place.

You stepped out into the quiet. It was late for the people of Shapuro. But you could still see lights and life within the town again. A few nightlife people walking around.

You couldn't enjoy the resurrection of the beautiful Shapuro, not when your chest felt so cold.

You went to the stables to get your horse but you were surprised to see Killer was there too.

That gave you a spark of life, "She didn't take Sukuna's horse, if they are on foot we can catch up to them!” Without a moment to lose you were on your horse as Yuji went to do the same.

He barely touched the saddle before Killer neighed and donkey kicked him across the stalls.

"AH!"

"Ah- Yuji?!"

"Yuji, are you alright!?"

The boy was in a sea of hay, having burst open a stack upon impact. "I'm fine! But uh~ I don't think Sukuna's horse really likes me..." he pouted.

You realized that Killer shared the same sentiment as his rider, disliking the younger brother.

Leaning over to Killer, who was stomping its hooves in a sassy manner, you speak softly, “Killer...please give Yuji a lift, Sukuna has been kidnapped...and Yuji wants to help find him." You smoothed your hand over the horse's mane as it puffed air from its lips.

Your horse neighed, bumping Killer with her head.

The steed seemed to give in with a huff, kneeling so Yuji could climb aboard, Megumi right behind.

"Is his horse seriously named Killer?" Megumi questioned quietly.

“Woah~” Yuji held on as the horse stood, "Ah- yeah- He used to have an ax that he named executioner so I’m not surprised.”

"Used to? What happened to it?"

The two conversed as you followed them.

"He broke it after I called it axecutioner."

"What an asshole..." Megumi muttered.

"Sh~ That's Raven's alpha, don't talk bad about him."

You released a snort, "No, he's right, he is an asshole, but he's my asshole."

"To be honest, he's been much nicer since you've gotten together!"

“That’s good…” You stated almost sadly. You weren’t sure how life was going to go now that you were aware Yuji was part of some bigger evil. He didn’t seem like it but you weren’t sure.

For now, you will focus on saving your alpha.

Everything else can come after.

"Oi!"

The horses trotted to a stop as Gojo and Nanami came galloping over.

"Sweetheart? What are you doing out here? The others said you needed to be in your nest." Your blonde put a comforting hand on your back.

"I couldn’t…Nothing will relax me until Sukuna is found."

"I also think we are banned from going back ever again." Megumi inserted.

Your alphas looked at the two as if they had just realized they were there.

"Whoa! Yuji! Who let that monster out of the cage?" Gojo pointed.

"Yuji is no monster!" Nanami snapped. He then changed his tone, "What- what happened?"

You spoke swiftly, anger bleeding into your words, "G.Ma and Yorozu set this whole thing up! It was her goal to take Sukuna at his weakest. So that old hag can kiss my ass. Yuji can find Sukuna even without his scent. Afterwards… we can talk about everything else…let’s go.”

Yuji snapped the reins as you all trailed after.

"You alright?" Gojo spoke to you as you rode down the street.

"No…Not right now." You told him the truth.

"Sorry…I should have…" Your alpha seemed to be at a loss for words of comfort. He then shouted, "We-We will get him back...!"

"What about the pups? Are they okay?" Nanami asked.

At the question, you felt your throat tighten, "..." you couldn't even speak about it.

Gojo and Nanami shared a look but otherwise said nothing.

‘My pups…My pups.’

You covered your ear, trying to ignore the constant chatter.

But within the other ear, you could hear-

‘My alpha my alpha needs me-‘

You thought these were your internal thoughts but you realized the voices were coming from behind you. Looking back you could see your shadow constantly moving as if it were its own entity. A multitude of eyes blinking.

‘Shut up!’ You shouted within your mind and the whispering dispersed, fading away. You could hear the voices no longer, and thr eyes closed.

Your shadow then fixed itself.

It was the shadow creatures.

It seemed they were a manifestation of your insecurities and pain. Lost in this new spell, you didn’t notice the horses slowing down.

“Hey! Over here!” Gojo shouted.

You looked up as Toji, Choso, and Getou merged with the pack, circling together to a halt.

“What are you doing out here baby?” Toji looked worried much like Nanami.

“She wants to help find Sukuna.” Your blonde answered for you.

“And the girls? Who’s watching our pups?” Getou blinked back and forth seeing everyone else here.

“That…” Nanami hesitated.

“…Mai and Maki.” You interjected, remembering that they were the two who were protecting the twins from you. “Did you find anything?” You questioned redirecting the conversation.

“The old shopkeeper said they left town.” Choso stated but then saw Sukuna’s horse, “They can’t get far if they are on foot.”

“I was thinking the same-“

“No.” Yuji stated looking off in the distance. “Sukuna is still here…I can sense him. This way!”

Your heart beat quickens, your alpha was still here!?

He hasn’t left!

You rode further out of town to the outskirts, the trail seeming familiar to you. This was the same path you took for your date night with Toji. Soon you broke through the clearing, the horses neighing at the edge of the water.

The lake was empty, and there were no beautiful lanterns floating around. No boat awaits you for a wonderful date night.

And no Sukuna.

“Wh-where is he?” You looked to and fro.

“Here…he’s here.” Yuji pointed toward the quiet lake.

“Maybe he’s underwater?” Toji jumped off his horse.

“How far out is he?” Gojo questioned.

“Come on Yuji, I can water walk us there.” You quickly dismounted and reached for the beta.

“I don’t have enough curse energy to use my barrier can you cast the spell on me too?” Gojo questioned.

“She needs to reserve as much mana as possible, we don’t know what we are going to face.” Nanami cut in.

“I'll grab a boat!” Choso stated as he took off.

“Bring two!” Getou shouted.

Holding Yuji’s hand you cast the spell, “Watedes!”

Your feet glowed and as you stepped out, little ripples occurred, but you stayed on top.

“Be careful!” Toji warned as you moved deeper onto the lake.

“We will!” You called back.

It wasn’t until you were smack dead in the middle that Yuji stopped.

The lake was massive, it was nothing to scoff at. From where you stood to where your alphas were, was almost an entire football field away.

“Right here. We are standing above him.” Yuji stated.

You knelt on the water, peering into the darkness like looking into a glass. You could see rocks and fish, typical water life. There was nothing out of the ordinary.

“I only see fish.” Itadori stated right next to you.

“Same…wait… you can see in the dark?”

“Only a little with my right eye.” He said peeking up with one eye closed, “But do you see that rock over there?” He put his face back to the water tapping it like a kid at an aquarium.

“Where?”

“By the pink Starry.”

You looked around until you spotted what he was talking about. There appeared to be a piece of metal between the rocks.

“Yeah! I see it…what is that?”

“Hm…” Yuji moved around a bit to get a different angle. “Dunno but it’s no creature or plant I’ve ever seen.”

The water rippled as your alphas rowed toward you. Gojo, Nanami, and Getou were in one boat while Toji and Choso were in the other.

Megumi stayed with the horses.

“What did you find?” Toji lifted you into the boat while Itadori climbed into the other.

“There’s this weird metal down below, but that’s the only thing we spotted so far.”

“Alright, looks like we are going for a midnight swim.” Toji stood taking his shirt off and flinging it-

“Ah!” Gojo yelped as it hit him in the face.

“My bad!”

“I’m literally in the other boat how did you do that?!”

“Stop whining, we have to hurry up so we can get back to the funeral.” Getou smacked Gojo on the back of the head.

Even in Getou’s most hated condition he could still think about the pups. You didn’t have the heart to tell him what had transpired before you left.

“Grr-“ Gojo released an annoyed growl as he dipped a finger into the water, “My infinity barrier is weak, I'm not going into this cold ass water!”

“Enough. Toji and I will go.” Nanami was already removing his shirt.

“I as well.” Choso stated while standing. “Raven won’t be happy until her pack is whole again.”

That made Gojo pout as he began to take his shirt off. “Fucking Sukuna getting fucking kidnapped.” He muttered, standing up.

“Can you all hold your breath or do you need me to cast a bubble?” You say while standing. Fire earrings dangling from your ears, luckily the cold will not bother you.

“We will be fine, use your curse energy for yourself.” Putting a foot upon the edge of the boat Nanami propelled himself into a dive.

Toji splashed in right afterward, cold water raining down upon Getou who shrieked in horror moving away like a hissing cat.

“Why aren’t you getting into the water?” Gojo questioned the other alpha.

“I-I have to stay up here with Yuji! And protect him!”

You didn’t have time to listen to your alphas bicker, you cast your bubble around your head, and jumped right into the water.

It was dark and murky for your alphas, so they were using a glow stone to shine like a flashlight.

Fish darted away from you as you pushed yourself deeper. “Over here!” You called to your alphas pointing at the metal piece you spotted from above. Now that you were close enough you realized it was a rusted chain.

Choso swam past you as he floated around the rocks, he picked up the chain, but it got caught on something. You were about to help him but Toji gently moved you out of the way.

“Mm!” Toji nodded his head, picking up the chain as the others grabbed it from behind. Gojo held the end trying to pull it, Nanami in the middle while Choso and Toji pressed their foot against the rock for better support.

You got closer to the spot the chain connected to. It looked like it went deep into two rocks. Then something shifted as bubbles floated up.

“Keep pulling!” You shouted to your men.

They grunted and pulled.

The next thing you knew a *KACHUNK* sounded

“That’s it-“

WOOOSH!

Water burst outward sending you flying. You were shot away, swirling around from the crazy amount of pressure that just came rushing out. In your moment of delirium, you gasped for air and water filled your mouth. The blast had burst your bubble.

You couldn’t figure out what was up or down as your lungs burned- but then something yanked you around your waist and pulled you out of the water.

You gasped for air choking and coughing up water.

“Are you okay!” Yuji shouted helping you into the boat.

“Y-“ you tried to speak but you kept coughing up liquid.

“Baby- get it all-all-o-out-“ Getou shivered next to you, teeth clattering from the cold water dripping from his hair. He had jumped in to rescue you.

The others came out of the water with a gasp.

“The fuck? The water won’t stop.” Toji sputtered.

“I tried to go through it, but it’s too strong,” Choso stated.

“It would be impossible.” Nanami sighed.

“Damn, if only I had more energy I could redirect the current.” Gojo slammed a wet hand against the boat.

After you finished coughing you wiped your lips, looking at the water spout that was shooting out of the lake like an active volcano erupting.

The blast had pushed the boats away from their original spot.

“Is that where you sensed his energy?” You questioned Yuji.

The boy nodded, “Yeah but how are you guys going to get through that?”

“There has to be a way.” You stood throwing yourself overboard. “We just have to find it.” You were about to dive back in but Nanami stopped you.

“Perhaps…” Nanami started looking at everyone else, “…We can make the opening wider. Try to lessen the pressure.”

“Worth a shot.”

“Alright in three -two -one-“

Diving together you swim to the bottom of the lake. The water sprout was much stronger at its source, it was hard to get any closer than you already were. Your alphas must have noticed they couldn’t swim close enough without being pushed away. They had to grab onto the rocks, using them to pull themselves along.

You followed suit but then- “Ngh-“ You lost your grip- “Ah!” You let out a cry as you flew but Gojo caught you by your wrist as you waved in the water, his face scrunched up as he struggled to pull you closer to him. Choso grabbed your other wrist, helping you in. Once you were close enough you dug your nails into the rocks, your alpha and Choso holding you around your waist so you don’t fly away.

All three of you were side by side, trying to stay stable.

Your bubble helmet was wavering around. You were afraid it was going to burst again. Maybe you should have learned a stronger spell for underwater situations.

You inwardly cursed yourself.

Toji and Nanami made it close to the opening. They threw a hand out- both men summoning their weapons, once they grabbed it they slammed it into the rocks. It began to chip with each clink of their weapons.

The three of you were able to get a bit closer, but

the next hit from your alphas let out a loud ‘KRCHUNK’ - then the rock gave way and another blast erupted sprouting from the spot they had just broken open.

It knocked you all away sending you spinning through the water.

This time when you came to, you were on the edge of the lake. You sat up with a cough, sputtering out water again as Gojo patted your back.

We just made it bigger!” He shouted in anger while comforting you.

You looked up seeing the water sprout was shooting upward and to the side now.

“What do we do now?”

Sukuna was right here.

“There’s no way we can get through that.”

Your alpha was here and you can’t get to him.

“Maybe…we hit it again…?”

Why?

“It didn’t do anything the first time!”

Why?

“Not- necessarily,” Nanami gestured. “It just split in two directions… The hole we made was too small.”

At his words hope had you snapping out of your dooming thoughts. “Then we go again.” You stood running out to the boat.

“Wait-“ Toji stopped you with an arm wrapped around your waist, your feet lifting out of the water in your momentum forward. “Let us catch our breath baby…I know you want him back…”

You grit your teeth, but you settle down, seeing your men panting and still trying to catch their breath.

Getou violently shivering in his blanket.

“We will keep trying. We aren’t giving up.” Nanami let you know with a soft voice.

“Why don’t you let your curse energy come back?” Megumi questioned with a raised brow. “Wouldn’t that make this easier?”

Gojo opens and closes his hand, “I feel a little bit coming back but I don’t think I’d be in tippy toppy shape until tomorrow.”

“No.” You shook your head, “We can’t wait that long.”

“Y-yes- sh-she needs to s-sing her s-song.” Getou stuttered.

You hide your face in Toji’s arm.

Getou still believes you are going back. He still believes you had a chance to adopt the pups.

You didn’t want to talk about…it.

You didn’t want to talk about…what you have lost.

You’ve lost your pups…

Your friends…

And betas…

And your alpha…

Oh yeah, and you don’t even fucking have Junpei…

He was as good as dead with those witches.

You released a pitiful cry.

“Woah-“

“It’s okay…”

Hey-Hey, it’s okay sweetie.” Toji pulled you into his chest, hugging you tight. “Sh…sh~ everything will be alright.”

Don’t cry…” Gojo murmured sadly.

“…”

Things fell into silence as you alphas tried to purr you into comfort.

“Sorry…I’m not much help.” Yuji spoke sullenly.

“Don’t do that… you helped us find him.” Your blonde sighed. “If it weren’t for you, we would have suspected he already left town.”

“…I’m going…Gonna swim around and see if I can find anything else.” Choso sloshes into the water, pushing the boat.

“Toji, let’s do the same on the other side.” Nanami grabbed the other boat.

“Right.” Toji tossed you up so he could carry you with one arm.

“Do you…think that will be enough?” You questioned worriedly.

“If not we keep chipping away at it until it gives.”

“What happened to taking a quick break?” Gojo whispered as he galloped into the water to catch up with Choso.

“Good luck!” Getou called, as Yuji and Megumi built him a fire to keep him from perishing.

You felt nervous, feeling as if you were fighting a losing battle. Like you were doomed to fail in your desperate need to succeed. “We could…barely get there…or maybe it was just me, Gojo, and Choso, probably got slowed down by me...actually.” You stated, as you were set in the boat, Toji threw himself in shaking the vessel.

“That’s fine. Let us handle it.”

“Stay up here, sweetheart. When we break through we will let you know.” Nanami and Toji began to row, bringing you back out into the water.

You don’t like the idea of sitting doing nothing. But you were afraid you might be getting in the way rather than helping.

“How are you not shivering?” Gojo questioned Choso.

“I can keep my blood warm…but also I’m from further up north.”

“Lucky bastard- Achoo~!” Gojo sneezed sniffling a bit.

Due to their conversation, you had a sudden realization of how draining this all probably was to them. Toji was a monster so he could tank most things, so the cold wasn’t too much for him to handle, Nanami was a man of hardships, Gojo was doing this so he doesn’t get one-upped by Choso and the beta himself was trying to save a man who had tried to kill him multiple times.

And Getou was close to hypothermia.

But they were all doing this for you.

Your heartache was bittersweet, realizing how much they would do for you.

You could just imagine Sukuna in place of any one of your alphas- because he’d do the same for them as well. The situation would be the same if any of your alphas were taken. And you’d be just as desperate to get them back.

You made it as close to the middle as you could, without the boat being pushed away. Choso and Gojo got there first, and as soon as they were ready they dove in.

“We will be back.” Toji set the oar down.

As your alphas stood so did you. You stepped up on the bench so you could be closer to their height.

“Thank you.” You thanked Toji with a kiss to his cheek and turned to do the same to Nanami.

“He would do the same for us.”

“The pack isn’t a pack without us all.”

They spoke what you already knew.

You were happy that despite the secret of Sukuna killing Raven being revealed, they still saw him as a part of the pack.

You nodded, “Be careful…” You sent them

off. The boat swayed side by side as the water splashed and rained down on you.

You fell upon your knees, leaning over the side, watching them from above. You could see them struggling much the same as before. You felt helpless sitting here waiting for them.

Helpless as your alpha lies just out of reach from you, separated by water

Your thoughts drifted, into an area you tried desperately not to go.

What was she doing with your alpha?

Did she have her filthy hands on him?

Was she touching what was yours?!

‘MineMineMineMine’

The voices began to build- chanting louder and louder, your reflection wavered with your shadows as they grew and ragged in anger.

“Go away.” You were about to punch the water but then you halted seeing your hand swirl with your dark curse energy. “…Huh…” Your reflection was that of a shadow- it made you think about- shadowform! Maybe if you use it you can get closer to the stream or even go through it! Your heart skipped a beat as you stood with swiftness.

It could work.

You breathed heavily as you prepared yourself and with one last wish of luck, you jumped in. You had been using your shadow form with ease. All you had to do was allow yourself to feel light, as if you were floating in water. Let the anger and desperate need for your alpha burn through your very blood. Let it all consume you. You struggled at first but then your body began to turn into a murky form of purple ink floating in the water. You no longer had to fight with breathing or the pressure of the stream. You moved like a ghost in the water. Swaying on the rocks your alphas were holding on. You went past them and once you got to the geyser you pushed your hand right through it-

Yes! Yes!

“Wnt!” You heard someone try to call you, underwater bubbles probably bursting from their lips but you had a new drive.

You surged through the stream- you couldn’t see anything as you kept going down and down. Just white streams of water coming at you at a rapid speed. Panic began to set in as you continued with no sight of an opening. You would push your head out just to find rocks all around you. The tunnel went deep but could you get through it before you lost your curse energy? If you lose your form- this shit was going to blast you sky high.

And most likely kill you. If it didn’t you were going to hurt badly.

Keep going- have to keep going.

You kept pushing down… further and further as you looked for an exit to go through safely.

Then you saw something glowing. When you got to it you were met with the end, a water sigil upon the wall creating this onslaught of pressure. Can you get out? You moved to the side your head then poked out. You were in a cave, even though you dove down things were now flipped.

You floated down to the glossy rocks, leaving the funnel of water.

Releasing your shadow form, you were able to smell the scent of cinnamon. As soon as it touched your nose you whipped in its direction as if it had snatched you like a hook.

You took a confident step forward- “My alpha…” Then you paused looking toward the water.

You hadn’t practiced much water magic besides the basics, you didn’t know how to shut the ‘valve’ off.

Should you wait for the others?

Your hesitation lasted only a second, what a silly question. Even if it would be better for you to wait, your body was driven by pure emotions right now.

You were here.

And so was he.

There was only one pathway within the cracks. You moved cautiously, keeping your knees slightly bent in case you needed to move swiftly.

What if Sukuna attacks you?

Can you successfully take him out so you can deal with whatever else Yorozu throws at you?

You were afraid…

So afraid of what you were going to find.

You wanted to wait for the others but your heart wouldn’t allow you. Sukuna's smell was getting stronger.

It kept you moving.

Reeling you in.

A light poured down the way, and you saw lush green moss upon wooden steps. Walking up you came to a huge opening. There was greenery all around, and water streaked down the side of the cave in small rivers. Light gemstones twinkled in the cracks, giving off the shine of a twinkling night.

Right in the middle of the cave was a two-story cabin.

You were stunned to say the least…

It was such a picture-perfect cabin… with a nice-sized barn. Cradled in the perfect pocket of space.

It was like a place you would move into in the countryside with your significant other to start a cute little family.

Vegetables, fruits, and animals roamed the fenced-off area.

Everywhere you looked made you want to vomit.

She was just…going to live down here. Steal your alpha and hide him away, far from your reach. Your chest burned and your body ached.

You heard Taka birds chirping as the barn doors opened.

Sukuna came out with a white shirt, blue jeans rolled up, and cuffed just below his knees. He was carrying two buckets of feed. A trail of Taka birds chirping after him.

You ran to him without much of a thought, phasng through the fence.

When he saw you coming he looked up with a raised brow, “Hey-“ He recognized youThat made you run even faster. “I thought you-Hmph!” He grunted and stumbled as you practically threw yourself at him.

Your arms around his neck and you cried, “My alpha- my alpha.” You nuzzled him and kissed him repeatedly.

He let out a snort, “What’s this fuss about? You are behaving as if you hadn’t just seen me. I thought you were taking a shower?”

You froze, and then slowly pulled back

, looking at your alpha with your brows furrowed. “W…What?”

Sukuna noticed your confusion, “You said… you were going to clean up before bed? Are you okay?”

You look behind you, staring at the cabin. Then you shook your head, did she take your appearance? Making Sukuna believe it was you?

“I went into the house?”

“Yes.” Sukuna nodded, his eyes critical as if you were the one acting weird.

“No… no I didn’t…Yorozu took you from me, we are under the lake in Shapuro.” You said looking at him.

His face fixed into a scowl, “What?” He then pulled back from you, “Get in here.” Rushing inside the barn he set the buckets down. The Piglets oinking and snorting away, as the Taka birds come in to chirp, pecking for their food. Sukuna ignored them as the feed spilled all over the ground.

“So what you are saying is…The woman in there isn’t you…”

“Yes, I’m Y/n not her. It’s-“

Yorozu…” his lip lifted into a snarl, “She caught me- the fucking bitch caught me again. I should have known.” He growled in annoyance, getting angrier by the second. “Look for the mark.” He took off his shirt.

“What does it look like?”

“A heart.”

“…” You helped him, searching for a symbol, “…What… do you remember?”

“…Truthfully… not much now that you ask…I remember…You came knocking on my door…told me we had to leave, that we were in trouble, and G.Ma turned on us…I can’t remember the in between of that and ending up here. Fuck… I can only assume that was her the whole time. She used your likeness to get my guard down. She sounded like you…She even smelled like you. I didn’t see it coming, she must have stung me when I had my back turned. Dammit- how long have I been in this fucking loop?”

“Loop? Also, I don’t see… Um, a heart…” You finish your observation with a light touch of his skin, just that contact made you want to cry.

He was here before you but things were still not right…he still doesn’t feel like he was yours again.

Sukuna turned toward you fixing his clothes as he spoke, “It might be smaller this time so I don’t catch on…the last time she had me under this bullshit spell she kept me on a loop, made me think I actually decided to take her out on a date. But things weren’t adding up. If I catch on she will reset me and try again. She’s going to keep doing that until she can mate with me… then I’ll be fucked like Toji was.”

“Oh my Tengen- that bitch-I’m going to kill her-

Sukuna grabbed you before you could do just as you wished, “Calm down…I don’t want to alert her before we know what we are dealing with. I want her dead too trust me. Judging by the fact I don’t remember how I got here, I’m sure I smelled bullshit pretty quickly…how long though… how much time did I miss…” He questioned almost solemnly. He was trying to hold in his anger but even he was letting his emotions slip.

You cupped his face gently with a sad smile, “We didn’t waste any time finding you, it literally just happened…I even broke out Yuji so he could help.”

Sukuna eyes closed in relief, “Good- good…” he nodded his head, “…Where are the others? You shouldn't fight her alone…she might use me…so Yuji…make sure Yuji stops me.”

“They… they are above us. I was the only one who was able to get through.”

“What?” Sukuna looked surprised, “WhyWhy are you here by yourself? What if I-? No- you need to leave now-“ he grabbed your arm peeking out of the barn window. “I’ll distract her you go-“

“I can’t- “ You deny snatching yourself back.

He grabbed you frantically, “You have to- I don’t know what kind of fucked up spell she has on me.”

But you fought him back just as frantically, “Then I’ll break you out of it, take off your pants maybe the mark is somewhere there.”

I’m not doing this with you- leave now we can worry about the mark later.”

Stop it- I’m not leaving and that’s fucking final- you here- you here is- it hurts Sukuna- I can’t I can’t leave-

“What if I kill you- what if - what if this is the omen- don’t make me- don’t make me I don’t- please- Lu Marcie I won’t be able to- if I do that- I couldn’t live- it would be worse than any hell Tengen could send me to- I would rather kill myself now.” He took out his knife pressing it to his own neck.

“Stop- stop it-“ you grab his arm trying to pull it away.

“Then leave - come back with the others I won’t I won’t allow this to be my destiny I refuse-“

Sukuna nicked his neck in your struggle and you let out a cry.

“-I can’t -I can’t- leave you my alpha- you are my alpha my solunar-I can’t leave you I can’t- don’t make me leave you don’t-“

Sukuna was caught off guard by your sudden breakdown, it gave you just enough time to yank his arm, the knife fell out of his hand and he sailed to the floor for it as did you. Slamming his hand down upon the handle of the blade you fell over his hand with your body to keep him from overpowering you. He could easily lift you but his head rests on your back as he let out a shaky growl.

Stop…” Sukuna speaks almost as if he were out of breath. “…I…I don’t…” his hand moved to hug you to him, his arms so tight. “…I…” he didn’t know what to say.

Didn't know what to do.

Neither did you.

But there was one thing you knew for sure.

“I won’t leave I won’t leave-“

“Fuck…okay…” He gulped heavily. “You have to calm down…” his breathing was uneven, trying to heed his own advice. “…or she will smell our foul scent.”

“…I should have killed her- I should have killed her.” You sniffled.

“No, I should have ripped her head off when I had the chance, and asked for forgiveness later. Let you be mad at me about it.” He snorted softly.

You looked up at him with furrowed brows, “I could never stay mad at you, you know that...I don’t think it’s possible…”

Sukuna wiped your tears away, his jaw tense he then spotted something beyond you, his eyes lighting up, “I have an idea…” There was a noise that caught your attention, and both of you snapped your gaze toward the opening of the barn where a Taka bird was flipping the bucket around. Once you realized it was not Yorozu Sukuna spoke low as he said, “The witch is strong but I know you can beat her. She uses insects to empower her magic.” He pointed behind you, and you followed his finger as he guided your eyes. “You see that wasp up there? That’s one of her queens, the Jackéh.”

There you could see a few wasps fluttering around but you spotted one that was massive looking like a yellowjacket. “ I see it…”

“Capture it, and the other queens but don’t kill them yet. If you kill any of her bugs she will know. I’m not sure how many there are but if I had seen those I would have gotten suspicious of Yorozu…” Sukuna looked around the barn, “I might have found a few already…” he moved and you followed him as he went deeper into the barn. “Yorozu hates anything that gets her dirty.” He explained as he stepped into the oinking piglets section. He then began to dig into the mud scooping it away. “Check that pile over there.” He nodded his head.

You went toward it, the smell was horrendous, but that was the least of your worries. You grabbed a shovel and began to scoop away the mud. You then hit something, “Sukuna.” You called to your alpha bending down to reveal what was underneath.

Your alpha flew over the gate and helped you dig out the jar. Within it was a queen. “Yeah…” Sukuna spoke holding up the container. “I must have put this here.”

“You knew…you figured it out that quickly…” You felt your chest ache, Sukuna knew the woman was an imposter.

“…I’m sure she’s sent me in a loop multiple times.” Sukuna grinned, happy that he wasn’t falling for her bullshit.

“How do you know… I’m the right one?”

Sukuna looked toward you with a smirk, “I know my brat well. Here.” He handed you the jar.

“You better.” You took the jar from him with a pleased grin on your face. Yorozu couldn’t steal your alpha even with your identity. Clearly, this was a skill issue. “…So I collect all of these… and then I crush them?”

“Yeah…but only do it right when you are about to attack her. Ambush her. Her greatest mistake was using your scent, that’s how she doesn’t know you are here and her bugs aren’t threatened by you.” Sukuna spoke while handing you something else, it was his trident.

“Why are you giving this to me?”

“Put it in your inventory…If she is to send me to fight you…” He then brought out his knife, slicing it into his hand.

“What- woah- what are you doing?” You gasp going to grab the knife but he catches your wrist with his other hand, the trident falling from your grip.

“This-“ he held up his fist as it bled through the cracks, “-This is my blood oath to you…” Turning your hand over, he cut the palm of your hand, you let out a hiss from the pain, your palm blooming with blood.

“Sukuna don’t-“ you tried to yank your hand away from him but he grasped it with his bleeding one.

“I give you my life- If you die- I die. With this blood, I swear on this oath.”

The blood upon your hands began to move wrapping around your hands like vines holding them together.

“Don’t don’t do that-“

Accept it- Accept my blood oath.” He hissed, his grip upon you tighter than the red strings that held it together.

Your eyes burned with tears as you sniffled, “Why-“

“I won’t let her take me. If you go I go.”

Just like the soul-bonded dragons, the two of you call each other. You wanted him to be happy if something happened to you, wanted him and your alphas to live their lives if you had to take yourself out…

But now…

With this…

Your life will now count for two others. If you were to die so would Choso and Sukuna.

“…”

Accept it!” He growled at you. But you don’t know how such an aggressive demand could sound so painful.

“Okay…I accept…I accept your blood oath… If I die… you die…”

The blood moved to Sukuna’s hand forming into a symbol much like Choso’s. And then it lights up before blending into his skin and disappearing.

“…”

Nothing was said as Sukuna leaned forward to rest his forehead against your own. He flipped the blade within his hand, holding the sharp side as he gave it to you. You took it gently and pushed it into your circle. Both of your hands were clear of the cut and the blood yet you still held each other just as tightly. You rubbed his hand gently, with your thumb. Rubbing over where the mark is now concealed.

“I won’t let that happen…” You finally spoke ”We will get out of here and I’m going to feed her to the slugs so she can experience a slow death. I don’t even want you to eat her.”

Sukuna let out a low chuckle, “Can’t wait-“

“Solunar!”

You gasped hearing your voice call your alpha. You both had gone rigid.

“She calls you- Solunar?” You growled standing up but Sukuna pulled you back down.

“Not yet- you have to surprise her. Get her queens I’ll keep her busy.” Sukuna stood swiftly and then threw himself on top of the mud pile.

“Ugh-“ you gasp in shock as he stands, muddy from head to toe. He looked pissed. “Why’d you?”

“So she doesn’t touch me.”

You stood and gave him a longing kiss, not at all worried about how dirty he was.

“Solunar where are you?!”

You released another growl, “I don’t even call you that all the time!”

Sukuna let out a little snort, “See? I told you, she could never fool me.” He then moved away from you, almost in a begrudging manner. He gave you one last look before he stepped out of the barn, “Fucking shits!” He growled.

You moved to the window, ducking down as you peeked outside.

Sukuna was walking with his arms raised as- what the fuck- she looked just like you! Yorozu- the fake image of you, was standing on the porch. She let out a disgusted -”Ah! My goodness Solunar what happened to you?” She moved away from Sukuna as she stepped back with a hand to her nose.

“Those damn birds! Took the bucket and made me trip!” He gestured to the Takas that were running around with the bucket now on two of their heads.

“Don’t get any of that in the house! Go hose down in the yard!” Yorozu shouted.

“I’m not going to hose down in the yard! I’m taking a damn shower.”

Yorozu followed after him shouting at how he was dirtying up the place.

Watching them felt so uncanny.

It was such a mockery of your life and your alpha.

Seeing them on that porch together made you envision a different life where you and Sukuna were a couple on a farm enjoying life.

However, you wouldn’t have responded in the way Yorozu did.

You probably would have laughed and then teased your alpha.

Your stomach burned, as your shadow creatures danced in your shadow.

‘Kill her. Kill her. Kill her.”

They chanted.

And this time you didn’t tell them to be silent.
