DESCRIPTION

The omega castle has finally come into view. Nanami called for a halt as you stared at the building.

Here you are, about to speak with Mei Mei.

What secrets will she have for you?

You couldn't get anything from Mahoraga but maybe you will have better luck with a human.

“Suguru?” Nanami called to the alpha as everyone looked toward him.

“Hm?” he questioned the hold up. He had been spaced out the entire ride here. You knew what he was thinking about.

“Your bird… could you send the message?” Nanami informed.

“Right…” Getou summoned his ghostly spirit and sent it off.

“The Shikigami troubles your mind.” Choso stated.

Toji almost sounded offended as he said, “Why would it? That conversation is done with.”

“My mind can be troubled by a lot of things you brute.” Getou hissed.

“Is it troubled by the book demon?” Gojo questioned.

“It doesn’t matter. You all don’t have to focus on me.” he ended the conversation with that simple statement but you worried that he was letting this consume him.

Maybe it wounded him to know that everyone believes the two of you weren't strong enough to win the challenge. A challenge for your bond. It must feel more than just simply being able to summon the general. It was something surreal that only the two of you could do. You can understand how he was feeling but you were too afraid to take on such a mission.

Especially, without everyone else.

You were both long-range squishy fighters going against a boss that looked like he would one-shot you both.

Getou could summon a spirit that could tank but you doubt that it would save you. It just seemed like a suicide mission. Maybe you could revisit the thought if you get some endgame gear from the treasure islands.

But even then that's a huge MAYBE.

You hoped Suguru could let it go.

You already had.

The bird floated back to your alpha and the barrier sprinkled away.

The horses charge forward.

Once at the main entrance the betas took your steeds and you climbed the steps to the omega home.

Mei Mei was at the top with her usual smile. “Hello my prime alphas, have you come back to purchase a friend for your omega?”

“No. We must speak with you. In private.” Nanami got straight to the point.

“Of course.” Mei Mei didn’t look concerned by the ‘we need to talk’ statement. She was always level-headed no matter the situation.

How could she erase your memories and then act as if nothing happened? Smile in your faces the way she did? While she hid such secrets. Then again… if she wasn’t so good at hiding the truth she would have been caught by now.

Your pack walked with Mei Mei as Choso, Yuji, and Megumi departed from your group.

Funny enough Choso and Yuji looked as though they wanted to sit in on this meeting. Megumi…well Megumi looked like he just wanted to go home.

Mei Mei entered her office and you all spread around. Sukuna and Toji posted up by the window and door, while Gojo stood in the middle of the room and the rest of you sat on the couch before the beta.

This made Mei Mei chuckle, “My goodness, are you about to kill me?”

“Depending on how you answer-”

“-No. We have some concerns with what we have discovered.” Nanami smoothly spoke over Sukuna.

The woman leaned against her desk, casually pouring herself a drink. “And what would that be?”

“You tell us.”

“Mm~ the tell on yourself tactic I see.” Mei Mei took a sip of her drink before smacking her lips, “I assume you all know what I am… considering you saved that hag. Should have left her there to rot.”

“I have my own issues with the elder…woman…” You stated, “…but why do you?”

“She wanted to share my money with the family, even the ones that don't lift a finger to contribute. Rewards everyone the same and creates an environment full of resentment."

"That…yeah, I saw that."

The woman swirled her cup around like you were sharing juicy tea, "Yes, I'm sure you did. But come now, sweetheart, you aren't here for my family feud. You want to know why I buried your memories."

"Yes..." You nod, glancing at your alphas, "...did someone tell you to do that?"

“You would be correct. You did to be precise.”

“Me?”

Raven told you to erase her memories?” Gojo questioned for clarification.

“Sure did. Mystery solved, anything else I can help you with?”

“Yes- why?

“Why did she want that?”

“Your omega has health issues, problems that come with being sick.” Mei Mei answered your alphas then looked upon you. “Honestly, I'm surprised you are as sound as you are now.”

You got conversational glances from the others.

‘Mei Mei still believes you are sick.’

Getou placed a comforting hand upon your own before speaking, “Raven was unwell… when she was in your care…”

“I hope you aren't insinuating that I made her sick. You were like that when you came to me.”

“No we aren’t saying you made me sick… It’s just, how do you know I was sick?”

“You had this curse or disease, never seen anything like it. But it was like mold taking over your body. I had to keep sewing up your flesh and bones while you were in my care. Did you find someone to cure you?” That seems to pique the woman’s interest.

“No we thought you did.”

“Me?! HA! I know I am amazing, sweetheart, but you would have needed a miracle to save you.”

There it is again.

The statement that only a miracle could have saved you.

“Dammit, we thought for sure it was you.” Gojo tossed up his hands.

Mei Mei shrugged, “You must have had a guardian angel looking out for you.”

“Hm…” You hummed at the thought. Perhaps an angel did save you. You were the star hero after all so maybe someone is blessing your journey? Such a thing gave you warmth and anxiety. Someone is watching over you but you don’t know if you are going down the right path. What if you disappoint and fail whoever brought you here?

“What would… be the risks of getting her memories back?” Nanami began and then Sukuna jumped in.

“Better question is could you give them back?”

“I could...” Mei Mei nodded, “…but I won’t.”

“Excuse me? Who gives you the right to deny our omega her memories?” Toji growled, but Mei Mei wasn’t phased.

“Your omega.” Mei Mei slid off her desk and walked to the back of the room. You watched her- your alphas watching closely as she moved a portrait of herself off the wall and unlocked a safe.

You pondered on her words, trying to dissect everything but then she was back. Handing you what looked like a locket with rotating wheels on the sides. 8 wheels to be exact, with numbers.

“What is this?” You questioned turning the locket around finding there to be a magical seal on it.

“Don’t know.” Mei Mei cleared her voice, “It was late… almost midnight. I was doing my final checks before calling it a night and I had found you just in time before you could meet Tengen…”

“Did someone hurt me?”

“No…”

You furrowed your brows but Getou squeezed your hand and when you looked at him you could almost hear what he was trying to say.

You hurt you…

“Oh…oh my goodness…” You whispered.

“Yes…” Mei Mei sighed. “…You were angry at me when I saved you. You told me you couldn’t take it anymore so I offered to erase your memories…and hopefully ease some of your pain and trauma. And perhaps some of that mold that was attached to your brain. I thought it could slow it down a bit, help you feel more grounded. A band-aid fix honestly. But you thought it would save you… And yeah I may have lied and stretched the truth… but I didn’t want to see you hurt yourself again. Needless to say, you were hesitant about it. But you finally came around to the idea. Before the procedure you told me that if you ever came asking for your memories back, to give you this.”

You swallowed a lump in your throat staring at the locket. You heard what Mei Mei said but it sounded unreal. You felt so dissociated from reality. You told Mei Mei to erase your memories and you told her to never give them back. But not only that you were in such misery that you had tried to leave this place.

Not mentally…physically…

Nanami put a hand upon your back while Getou still held your other hand. You could feel their pressure, they were trying to keep you stable with this information.

“That’s unfortunate to hear…” Nanami murmured.

“She must have been quite miserable…” Toji added.

“Ok… so then what’s the passcode?” Gojo sniffed after examining the object.

“Didn’t give it to me. She said she would know it.”

“I would know it…” You fiddled with the number wheels. What would you put for a passcode of something? Something with… eight numbers…

“Just go with your intuition.” Toji encouraged.

While you messed with the locket Nanami asked more questions.

“We are still trying to figure out the timeline for everything. When did Raven come to the omega house?”

“Last year.”

“And when was the last time you saw her sick? Or should I say when you knew for certain she was sick?”

“Right before I buried her memories. If you are going to ask when that was- that was a few days after you sent your message. Now let me tell you something I found strange. Raven had begged me to help her get with you all before she knew when you’d be looking for an omega. I thought the news of your appearance would be wonderful so I told her first but instead, it freaked her out. But the next day after I erased your memories you didn’t freak out so I thought it worked well.”

That’s when you looked up, “You erased my memories the day before telling us of the alpha's arrival?”

“Mhm…but instead of trying to get with them you avoided the very idea! Even though you told me that if you didn’t you’d die. So I tried my best to push you but...” Mei Mei shook her head, “You found your own very strange way to their pack. I’m truly happy for you darling. I believe you beat whatever fate you had been running away from.”

You blinked with your mouth agape. Was Raven trying to avoid her ending at Sukuna’s hand?

“If she didn’t get into our pack she would have died? Why would she think that? Do you know?”

“Never told me. Just said it was her destiny that she cannot change.”

You swallowed thickly coming back to what Mei Mei had said, “I… I remember that day… it felt like I just woke up here and I didn’t know how I got here… I was freaking out and you had checked on me and asked if I broke a nail…”

The woman nodded, “That was the morning after.”

“I didn’t… I didn’t feel sick though...or at least that I am aware of but that’s my first memory of being here and after that I didn’t meet anyone to help me. If anything everyone who met me asked who healed me.”

“Once again. A miracle darling. Count your blessings and enjoy them. And leave that tragic life buried. That sort of trauma could drive anyone insane.”

You looked at the others before saying, “Well…I will respect Raven… my… her wishes… maybe this thing will be something of use.” You lift the golden item staring at it intently.

Something to you from you.

“Very well. Is my life spared?” Mei Mei questioned with a grin.

“If we found out you lied about anything we will be back.”

“Of course you will.”

“I would also like your records of everyone who was in the Omega House from that night to when we got here.”

“Understood Kento. But records are private soooo~”

“I will give you money.”

Splendid.” Mei Mei went to gather the bookings

“You should start from the beginning, 0000001.” You realized Gojo was talking to you.

You released a snort, “That would take forever.”

“I’ll do it, give it here.”

You toss the locket to Gojo, “Go crazy.”

“We should write every code you try.” Nanami suggested.

You nodded, “Sounds like a good idea.” As you stared at Mei Mei another question came into mind. “Hey…Why did you allow Mahito to take Dove when she was already spoken for?”

“That?” The woman looked up while making a copy of her records. “The alpha was adamant about having her. Who am I to get in the way of love?” She said moving a passionate hand to her cheek.

“He offered you double didn’t he?” Nanami asked

“Triple.”

“I knew it…” You snapped your fingers.

“Oh posh- I asked Dove if she was fine with it and she said yes so there was no harm. If she said she wanted to be with Hairbara I wouldn’t have allowed such a thing. I’m not a monster.”

Hearing that Dove was the one to agree to be with Mahito was insane. Poor girl didn’t know what she was getting into.

“Here you go.” Mei Mei flipped the book handing it to Sukuna as he passed by.

Nanami stood, “Let us get washed up. Then we will discuss what to do next.”

~

You had a nice relaxing bath… well you tried to enjoy as much of it as you could. It was hard to do so when there was so much running through your mind.

Your alphas didn’t give you the locket so you could take this time for yourself. They said you could resume guessing the code afterwards.

You don’t know if Gojo will be able to crack the password with his tactic but it would be great if he did.

Damn Raven, couldn’t have given me a hint?

That wasn’t all you thought about. You thought about the horrible life that your past self endured.

Who could have hurt her in that way? And why is the spell that was used on her something that you can cast as well? Where does the story take a turn? Or did it ever?

You dunk your head under water casting a bubble spell so you could be consumed by the warmth of the bath.

What were you doing here? What was your purpose?

After you finish having your existential crisis you get dressed and make your way to the guest wing.

It’s strange how Mahito and Dove crossed paths considering that omegas who are spoken for are separated from the other Alphas that visit. He must have gone out of his way to find her. You just prayed that their relationship is going as well as Dove portrays it. You also hope that when the truth comes out it won’t ruin her.

You paused smelling a certain beta. However, you didn’t see him.

“Choso?” You questioned looking down the hall as the beta made his presence known.

“I didn’t mean to bother you…I just wanted to make sure you weren’t attacked.”

“It’s fine. You can walk with me you don’t have to hide.” You waved him over as he stepped next to you.

“Are you…okay? Did the Beta tell you anything?”

“She told me a few important things. I’ll explain along the way.”

You didn’t tell Choso EVERYTHING. You thought it would be a bit too much for him to bear if he found out the Raven he knew tried to leave this world. As sad as it is she would have taken Choso with her. Which made it even more depressing. So you just told him about the locket and how Mei Mei buried your memories upon Raven’s request to try to seal off the infection as much as she could.

It wasn’t far from the truth.

And even though you tried to shield him from the reality of how miserable Raven was you could tell he already knew from the expression on his face.

You tried to change the subject, “Uh… how have you been through… all of this… I know it’s been quite the journey for you and you just got here. I mean are you sure you want to be a part of this wild pack?” You said with a playful but truthful tone.

“A pack is not without its faults. And even though your alphas may annoy me I can see the good brought to you. We share the same sentiment and that’s what keeps us cordial and somewhat together.”

“What’s the sentiment?” You questioned, feeling warmth touch your cheeks knowing what he was going to say.

“I think you already know the answer to that.”

Well yes, but you wanted him to say it dammit!

You noticed the slight smirk on his lips that made you feel bashful. “N-No I don’t- I don’t know what you are talking about.” You try to recover, “I-I guess it would be your training! Fighting together builds a strong bond! The one where Sukuna puts you in the circle? I couldn’t do it. I don’t know how you do.”

“It’s not great but I’ve noticed more things about my blood and others. Sometimes I can hear the blood rushing in someone’s body. The beating of their hearts. Sounds I've never heard before. I…Thought I could only control my own blood but Sukuna is pushing me to wield others. I would be lying if I said I didn’t respect his drive for strength.”

You smiled, “You are really getting along with him in the weirdest way. I’m truly happy to see it. I notice you hold things back that you actually want to say… I assume you take the hits from Gojo because you don’t want to upset him.”

“It’s not easy for an alpha to let another into their pack especially someone like me… I already knew this was going to be a difficult task but I hope that in time they will see me as an equal.“

You remember how Toji reacted when Choso simply kissed your hand. “…It might take long…” You stated quietly.

“However long it takes.”

“…I will support you anyway I can.” It felt so weird to say. Because this addition to your pack is not truly up to you, it’s up to your alphas. Choso would have to get through them. And he needed a 10 across the board.

“My brother feels the same way.”

“He-he wants to be with me?!“

“No…” Choso let out a choked laugh that made you even more embarrassed.

“Huh- y-you made it sound like that!”

“You took it like that.”

“Then what are you referring to?!”

“He wants to be a part of your pack but not in the lewd way you are thinking. He wants to know what’s going on and he wants to help.”

“Oh… he does?”

Choso nodded.

“…I…I feel like we have so much going on I don’t want to drag him into this… I don’t want to drag anyone into this…”

“You aren’t dragging anyone into anything. We want to be there for the people we care about. Yuji, cares about his other brother. I care about you.”

“I understand… but some information I’m just not ready to share. Perhaps we can build on that trust and bond…” You made it to the guest hall but before you could proceed Getou had appeared from the dining room.

“Hey-“ you paused seeing the way his nose wrinkled up. “-What’s wrong?”

“His scent, is starting to have an irritating smell to it. You are going to need to mask him before he comes in.”

Yes of course… You no longer had that perfume to cover Choso’s smell.

“I can do that…” You blinked with slight uncertainty despite your words. Last time you did this the beta got a little riled up.

“Would you stay with us?” Choso questioned, sounding just as uncertain.

“Of course I will, I know how enticing my darling can be.”

You gasp, “Now tell me he isn’t making it sound like I’m seducing him?”

“You do it all the time, you are seducing me right now.” Your alpha shyly hid behind his long sleeve like a blushing maiden.

"What-"

"It's hard to look into her eyes." Choso lamented.

"-excuse me?!"

"And that oh so delicious scent."

"I apologize... for being so weak."

"You never stood a chance."

"You guys are so dramatic!" You were dumbfounded by the two connecting over you being the biggest tease to them.

YOU WERE JUST EXISTING!

"Come on, before the others come out here to kill him." Getou's nose twitched a bit.

Choso slides his arms out and lets the top part of his clothes drape around his hips. He then took a deep breath and closed his eyes. He was concentrating hard- jaw already tense.

You begin to cover his scent glands with your own, rubbing your wrist over his wrist first and along his arms. His skin was so soft and smooth. You focused on your task, doing your best to touch him as little as you could- which was nearly impossible considering what you were doing.

"You need to do it with more intent. Like you would cover us when you get jealous." Getou chuckled, grabbing your arm and really pushing your wrist into Choso. Moving your hand across every part of his body. You nearly died as your hand smoothed over the beta's chest. You could really feel the way his heart pounded...his blood heated up right underneath your fingertips.

Choso released a little rumble, his eyes twitching as he stayed as still as possible.

"Behave." Getou ordered.

The beta was able to calm down a bit but then when Getou moved your wrist toward his neck you spoke swiftly, "Those are sensitive to him."

"Doesn't matter, still need to cover them up too." AS soon as your wrist touched upon Choso's throat the beta's teeth flashed, but before anything could happen Getou released your hand and snatched Choso by his hair pulling him down into a bend. "-I said behave."

You watched stunned as Getou got the beta under control. His body trembled a bit but then it stopped.

"Good." Your alpha praised. "Go ahead." He nodded for you to continue.

You did so with your breath held in your chest. You could feel his pulse and the slight tremble, but Choso otherwise stayed still. You couldn't see his face, but you were pretty sure it was scrunched up in concentration. The whole thing felt extremely intimate, and having a smirking Suguru holding Choso by his hair in such a submissive position made this feel more smutty than it needed to be. You thought it was just you overthinking it with your hentai brain, but you could smell how your alpha enjoyed this power dynamic. See it on his face.

"There." Getou released Choso once you were done. "That's a good boy, wouldn't you think, darling?" His eyes locked on yours, and you felt hot. "It would be unkind if you didn't reward good behaviour." He nodded with his head.

You knew what your dirty alpha wanted, and as you blinked at the beta who was waiting for your words, you felt saliva catch in your mouth. He looked like he needed your praise. Desperately.

With an upright posture and a confident voice, you say, "Good boy."

Choso blushed- hard.

It was like his whole body caught a flame.

"Th- thank you-" He choked out as he fixed his clothes.

"Lovely~ Now contain yourself before you ruin all that my omega worked for." Getou pulled you to his side as he walked with you forward. He whispered, "Did you enjoy that?"

"Did you?" You questioned back with just as much mirth.

"More than I thought I would." The alpha chuckled, opening the door.

Already, Choso was winning over two of your alphas. One of them is the hardest one out of the pack. You weren't sure how he was doing it, but he was doing it.

In Choso you trust.

Getting into the dining room, you found Gojo with your locket, using his fast speed to enter as many combinations as he could. "500 through 1000 done." He called, still moving his hands.

"Got it." Nanami was writing on a piece of paper, writing out all the numbers Gojo had already tried.

Sukuna and Toji were sitting back watching, discussing something amongst themselves, but when you came in, they stopped talking. They seemed to have been having a deep conversation because it took them a second longer than usual to recognize you were there.

Yes, that is a flag of something wrong. One second late noticing your presence?

Something was up.

"Hey, did you enjoy your bath?" Toji questioned as he pushed some food over to you.

You didn't sit down quite yet. You were too rambunctious to do so. "I did- but I was thinking what this code could be. May I see it?" You open your palm to Gojo, and he nods.

"Yeah- I've been going through everything but nothing!" He plopped it into your hand.

"Would you know?" Getou questioned Choso, the two looking over your shoulder.

Choso leaned his head to the side, "Not sure...but there might be a clue to what it is. Raven...would write things down because she could be forgettable."

That sounds about right.

"I am pretty forgettable..."

"I think she did it because of her state of mind..."

"Ah...well, sick or not, I still am forgettable..." You turned the locket around in your hand, searching for anything.

You saw Getou shift in your peripheral vision and then he let out a sound of surprise, "Yes- she did right here." He pointed at the middle of the locket where it was smooth.

Glancing at your alpha, you realized he was looking through his byakugan.

"What does it say?" Nanami questioned.

"Date."

"Date..." You hummed. "...Maybe my birthday?"

"We tried your birthday." Your blonde crossed his arms in contemplation. "There weren't enough numbers for it."

"Did you do it in your numbers or mine?" You questioned while moving the dials to put in your birthdate from your world.

Your alphas looked a bit stunned, "Uh- I forgot it was different." Gojo stated, scratching the back of his head.

“You have different numbers?” Choso questioned in confusion.

“She just has her own ways of writing her dates,” Nanami said without giving the truth away.

You spun the last dial into place, and you heard a click. You gasp in happy surprise, "It was my birthday..." Opening the locket, the others got up to look.

You furrowed your brow as you looked at the circular device that resembled a tiny robot.

"What is that?" Gojo questioned over your shoulder.

"That's Mechamru's new device he created. He calls it an Audio Capture.” Choso informed.

“An audio capture?” You repeated lifting the thing out. There was a little clicker like a stopwatch button. “Do I push this in?” You did so without a second thought and the robot's mouth opened-

“Hello me.”

That was… your voice…
