This month's chapter is definitely action-packed, with a big choice up front that alters how the rest of the chapter goes. In this case, it's about horses!
I'm not sure how I feel about horses, but I certainly know how my editor (Sarah Longfellow) does. I don't mention her nearly enough, but she's putting in work each month making sure these chapters read as smooth as possible, and with correct spelling and grammar, too. Her work elevates SoH to next level, and I really appreciate her fixes, insights, and recommendations.
Speaking of recommendations...as a self-proclaimed horse girl who has spent over 5 years working with them, she's grilled me on just about each and every horse detail I write. Implementing her changes isn't usually all that difficult, but this time...well, there were a lot of them!
I hope, at least, any horse boys and girls out there will appreciate the added bit of realism she's helped provide!
