It's me, Seth! I did today's episode of Big Deal, which publishes on YouTube later today and publishes here right now. My takeaways from writing this were:
Ball don't lie
I forgot that the other teams involved in the Sheed trade diiiiiid kinda benefit in the long run. I only remembered it as a Total Highway Robbery, which it still kinda was.
I somehow forgot that the Knicks seemed likely to get Sheed after he initially got dealt to the Hawks. My brain might have wiped that as an adaptive mechanism. It's pretty wild how openly Wallace's agent was telegraphing his client's desire to go to the Knicks before the Pistons made their move.
