In August we asked you to let us know if you've had any trouble with articles missing content or looking broken in Push to Kindle. We got a lot of good feedback and were able to make a bunch of improvements.
As sites change over time, their changes can cause problems for Push to Kindle's article processing. So if your favourite sites exhibit any of these problems, feel free to let us know in the comments or by messaging us:
Articles don't contain the full content
Appear badly formatted
Include superfluous elements which distract from the reading experience (e.g. duplicate images, recommended articles inserted into the content, ads, invites to sign up for the newsletter, etc.)
Don't contain date or author info
If reporting a site, please also include an article URL from the site that displays the problem. Doing so makes it a lot easier for us to fix the issue.
We've recently added fixes for the following sites, so if you're reporting articles from these sites, please try one more time to make sure the issue isn't already fixed:
Quartz
Nature
London Review of Books
BBC
Independent
The Ringer
Substack
The New York Review of Books
Harvard Business Review
If you notice any issues with these or other sites you use. Please let us know.
We're going to try and reach out to you with these requests for problem reports every now and then (we'll try not to do it too often so as not to get annoying).
We also offer the 'Report Problem' link in Push to Kindle which we look at to help us prioritise what to work on, but we always prioritise feedback from patrons like you.
As always, we greatly appreciate your support for the Push to Kindle service.
