Here's an end of summer Pinball Map update. Thanks again for your support.
1) After using Amazon AWS to host our map tile server for a couple of years, we moved off of it. We realized we could use cheaper, more flexible offerings. So we switched to hosting it on Linode. So far it's going great. (the tile server is only used on the website, not the app).
2) We have an app update coming soon. Mostly "bug fixes and performance improvements." But we're going to try and sneak in a new feature or two, just to make it more exciting. If you ever have feedback or feature ideas for the app, please let us know.
3) Some little design updates to the website:
- When there are multiple search results, if you click on one, it hides all the results and only shows you the location details for that one location. And there's a "back to search results" button. This simplifies the interface, reducing clutter. And it matches what Google Maps does.
- On the mobile website, we hid the search form behind a button. So it's not always visible. This reduces clutter.
