Hi backers,
Now that most places are shut down, the map activity has been reduced to almost nothing. It's interesting to have direct access to data that illustrates how well people are self-quarantining. We hope it makes a difference!!
We've used this downtime to do a few things:
We updated the app. In the latest update, we redesigned the Dark Mode style, and we added a Settings page where users can manually toggle between dark/light mode. We also added a few miscellaneous things, and fixed some bugs.
We are currently redoing our map tile server. This will make it easier to update map tile elements in the future, as well as move it to different hosting platforms, if we need to. Almost done redoing it!
We're compiling a list of operators and businesses that are renting machines for home use. We're updating the list as we learn of new businesses: http://blog.pinballmap.com/2020/04/02/rent-a-pinball-machine/
