With the release of the first playtest build for this update, a lot of issues have immediately cropped up which I want to address head-on.
The new form is broken
This was mostly what I expected. The new form was added to a place that is nearly completely empty save for a single set of objectives needed for a single questline. With the next build, most all of the issues with the new form will be completely ironed out, and hopefully feature complete. This is why these playtest builds exist in the first place, to find and eliminate these issues before the bigger release.
Some objectives are very unclear
Particularly with the "cure a wolf" objective, I failed to indicate how and where to complete it. People easily got lost, and that's entirely my fault. In the next build, the goal will be to fully fix this by having a easily accessible wolf whom you can interact with without having to do any other objectives for any other person or faction, but I will keep other potential NPCs locked behind some special conditions to encourage exploration and swapping between questlines.
Quests end abruptly/with no big warning
I realize now that WIP can mean a lot of different things to people, especially if some WIP things are more fleshed out than others. Moving forward, I will definitely put bigger emphasis on interactions that just end instead of simply being unpolished. For a more comprehensive overview of these builds, all big documented changes are listed beneath in the post itself right above the download link, and if it doesn't explicitly outline something you're expecting don't assume it is present.
Along with the previously stated fixes, next build will focus most entirely on finishing the Mine area and continuing both mainline quests, as well as implementing new wolves you can cure as part of both.
