DESCRIPTION

Edit (hotfix 2):

The smooth animations option now also applies to combat animations.

Fixed an issue with breast physics locking the breast in an upwards position.

When generating the audio mod template, the game also creates a folder at mods/audio/overrides. It contains all the default cinematic sound effects which can be swapped out without having to do any json data entry. Supported file types are .wav, .mp3 and .ogg(vorbis).

Cinematic continue and skip now use the correct bindings.

Hopefully managed to fix a lot of the freezing that happens when changing graphics options.

Edit (hotfix 1):

Massive thanks to everyone for the bug reports.

Fixed an issue with the magic armor enemy model getting spaghettified.

Added two new variations for the top layer on cardboard and alpine outfits.

The first person view modes will now cycle properly when only one valid viewpoint is in a scene.

Fixed a bunch of issues with the nightmare scenes.

Fixed an issue with naughty fluids in the clayman orgy with smooth animations turned on.

Fixed a flickering issue when two walls touch diagonally.

Fixed a similar issue with carpet tiles.

Original post below:

This build has two new cinematics, a new first person camera mode and a new slimegirl character.

The slimegirl can be found on the first neutral floor in the form of a basic slime. And she can be turned into a proper slimegirl by escorting her to the new church area on the second neutral floor. She doesn't have any sexy content yet, and her model still needs a bit of polishing. The plan is to give her a variation of Chloe's next outfit when that gets added next month.

I was hoping to get at least one cinematic for the slimegirl done this month. But I ended up spending more time on the recruitment cinematic because of how fun it was to animate.

And I finally got around to adding the long requested first person camera mode as an experimental feature. Unfortunately it exposed loads of issues with most of the character rigs that needed to be fixed, but I feel like it was worth the time investment.I usually prefer to animate as if the actors are putting on a show for the camera, unfortunately that means that often the characters heads can't actually see anything. So the mode works better in some cinematics than othersI also prefer the default 16 fps mode for the animations, but I have to admit the smooth mode looks a lot better when the camera is so close to the action. The first person mode needs to be enabled in the settings under the "other" category. When enabled, after the flying camera and orbit camera modes the camera will cycle through any valid actors view.

With the upgrade to Godot 4.6, the game now uses dx12 by default for windows. The game can be run in vulkan mode by using the .bat file included in the game folder.

The preview for early access 2 will be uploaded on April 1st.

Thank you all so much for your support.
