Does a place know more of itself than its inhabitants? What secrets would it whisper?
With blinding brilliance, Loka Genio is another one of the "skills" personifying Jensey in S&M. Originally inspired by reliquaries, the portrait for the longest time consisted of a cloaked form with a mask, at one point featured, and at another featureless, grasping a melting candle. During one period of testing, its details were altered, replacing the mask with a skull.
Behind this variant of the portrait was a spoked wheel, inspired by Géza Faragó's The end of the War (ca. 1918), featured below.
This depiction of Loka Genio felt far colder than intended, and sharply contrasted the dialogue written. As such, a final iteration was created, that which is featured on the right.
The detailed form of the head was replaced with a blinding brilliance, washing out much of the rest of the portrait–raw awe, personified.
Behind the figure remains a spoked wheel, though it is obscured by the sheer radiance of Loka Genio. It feels a bit like staring at an incredibly warm flashlight.
