With the relaunch having come and gone, we're returning to the great unknown before a release date!
Production is continuing for v0.35, though it'll be a bit until it gets released.
Don't worry; this won't end up being a half-year pause like the gap between the last legacy version and the relaunch. With my schedule as is now, I'm hoping to be able to get v0.35, containing OM2 and the rest of the chapter 2 content, out by mid-December. Luckily, most of the content for this update is already in progress, so it may be out even earlier than that. We'll just have to see. ^^
v0.35, as mentioned, will include the second part of Occidental Minutiae: "Drato."
The different stories contained in OM help to trace how the characters we encounter wound up where they are by '46. Moments in lives that would otherwise be unavailable to us. Some pieces may not fit until we get the bigger picture.
Wren was our first character to experiment with for this, though he certainly isn't planned to be the last.
Next up is Umsi Aykut, a man we know at a distance, even if we have yet to meet him.
OM2 will take us back to the final days of the civil war, and to the northeast: the abandoned mining community of Boraŝko in the province of Arĝento.
We heard brief mentions of it by Vilĉjo in Chapter 1, but even for him it is a distant memory.
It's hard to say who or what moved into it and the network of mines beneath it when the eyes of the Occident were otherwise occupied…
