This part of the season feels like we're in the middle of a weird chaotic storm. Every path gets darker and more twisty and honestly confusing.
Matt is carrying way too much. The weight of being Daredevil, the guilt, the responsibility of putting people around him in danger, the constant pull between justice and vengeance. It feels like it's all crashing down on him. You can see it in the way he talks and carries himself now. There were moments where I genuinely didn't know what choice he was going to make. It's terrifying to watch.Frank continues to be such a compelling character in this season for me. Every time I think I have him figured out, another layer gets added. His story is so tragic that even when I disagree with his methods.. I understand them. I get the pain that's driving him. I'd turn dark for my family, too.And then that scene with Matt and Frank on the ship...The sign of the cross before Matt tells him he's done with his lawful methods. He's ready to take a life, "just this one time".For all of Frank's brutality, he's the one who really understand that darkness better than anyone. And I'm glad but shocked he gives it back to Matt straight. There isn't just a one time. He knows exactly what happens when you convince yourself there's one exception, one justified kill, one line you're allowed to cross just because. It was a really crazy reversal to watch. The man who spent this entire season trying to convince Matt that some people deserve to die... becoming the one warning him of the cost it takes. I can't wait to see where this season finale goes... Because WOW.These last few episodes have been all over the place so far.
