The imprisoned Earthbenders broke my heart. Watching their entire group of people slowly lose all hope because they've been beaten down for so long? It felt tragic. Haru and Katara sharing war stories about their parents made the world feel so much heavier. Everyone has been burned in some form by the Fire Nation.And I love that Katara stepped into the role of reminding the Earthbenders why they should continue to have hope. Continue to fight back! Her speech was incredible! She's quickly becoming the emotional backbone of this group & I love her for it.And then there was King Bumi 😭 I loved everything about that episode & the mystery behind it all!Six episodes in and I'm already understanding why so many people hold this series up so high!
