I'm so glad I went back and rewatched this one 🤣 It definitely felt a bit odd going into a movie with you guys AGAIN when I had already seen and reacted to this one before lol. But it was honestly pretty chill & I had fun just relaxing and not feeling like I needed to pick up on every little detail during my rewatch.
It's kind of wild to think that Deadpool is where my MCU knowledge started back in September of 2024 (one of my first reaction videos EVER also haha). I remember walking away from this one thinking, "Wow.. The X-Men kind of suck, right?" 🤣 "They must be a joke franchise." Fast forward to now after just recently watching almost the entire X-Men collection... This movie and those lines hit SO differently. So many of the jokes landed this time. Even Aliens and Star Wars jokes, too!! I think my favorite line is now "Stewart or McAvoy" 🤣I loved all the little jabs at the X-Men this time around. Seeing Deadpool constantly bounce off the wholesomeness that the X-Men stand for was hilarious and shocking after loving them for the past 2 or 3 months LOL. He just continues being unapologetically himself.I also completely forgot how gory this one is haha. Although, after watching Daredevil, my stomach didn't hurt at all this time around so I guess I'm more desensitized now 😅 Not sure if that's a good or bad thing.. but it's definitely happening hahaThank you all for rewatching this with me!I know rewatches aren't usually something as exciting or desired, but I'm happy I sat down and did this now that I'm almost completely caught up in the X-Men timeline and getting closer with the MCU! It made me appreciate this movie and Deadpool so much more.
