Every week I love this show more and more!The world keeps feeling bigger and bigger. The spirit world was so eerie and unpredictable. It made me realize I only understand a sliver of what this world really is. It also made Aang's responsibility as the Avatar feel even heavier than it did. Which is crazy considering his role already lol.Meeting Avatar Roku was SO COOL. Idk why but I wasn't expecting the previous Avatars to really play a role at all in what's happening now. I thought they were just old legends passed down through generations. But seeing Aang actually speak with Roku made everything feel so much more connected. Like this isn't really just Ang's journey. He isn't alone. He's a tiny part in something so much bigger and ancient. I also continue to love Zuko and Uncle Iroh. I know they're the villains LOL. But every episode has me rooting for them a bit somehow.Iroh always seems to bring this warm wisdom and humor that I can't help but love.This show just continues to surprise me. I came in expecting a fun, silly fantasy adventure. But I'm already seeing so much more than I thought I would. The characters, the world, the legends, the mythology.
