I COULDN'T STOP WATCHING THIS ARC ❄️
Drum Island is definitely one of those arcs that is just so easy to binge. Even with everything going on, the story somehow balances genuine emotion with absolute chaos in that charming One Piece way. Watching Nami get sick completely shifted the priorities of the entire crew, Vivi included. I love that she was the one who insisted they stop even knowing her own Kingdom is so close to completely falling apart..And we got such a HUGE deep dive into Devil Fruits here. Finding out Dalton ate the Ox Ox fruit, Model: Bison (Zoan Type) made my brain spin with so many questions. I never really thought of Devil Fruit having these specific classifications before. But now I'm really curious how they're all organized and why. Does every fruit have a type and model like this? And the LITERAL WITCH HUNT 🤣 It wasn't until my outro that I finally put that together lol.Somehow this show can take something so ridiculous & make it feel completely natural.The only thing I'm NOT enjoying is Wapol haha. He's exactly the kind of villain that makes me impatient because every second he's on the screen ranting about his 'government' makes me want Luffy to punch him even sooner. Him and his army are insane and I can't wait to watch this island finally be free of him!This has honestly been such a fun start to Drum Island! It's emotional when it needs to be (Luffy going full Spartan up that mountain for Sanji & Nami), hilarious when you least expect it (Zoro running around half naked in the snow for training purposes), and keeps giving me amazing amounts of lore to keep my journal full of questions never ending.
