I was not prepared at all for Chopper's backstory.
This shy, awkward, terrible at hiding little reindeer has one of the saddest beginnings I've seen in OP so far. Watching him be rejected by both humans and reindeer because he never truly belonged in either world was so tragic. He only wanted a home. Friends. And then Dr. Hiriluk came along and gave him all of that and so much more.It wasn't perfect. Dr. Hiriluk is such a mess lol.. But he has an amazing heart. He believed in Chopper before Chopper believed in himself. And that made every moment after hurt even more.Dr. Hiriluk is such an amazing character. I think he's quickly become one of the most memorable I've seen so far.Completely ridiculous and surprisingly wise at the same time. There's something so poetic about the fact that he was known as a quack, yet he may hav understood healing better than anyone else on that island. When does a person truly die? This arc is incredibly amazing in every way so far.I love how much One Piece has a way of wrapping pure ideas into the wildest adventures. And somehow still keeps catching me off guard completely.Thank you for your support on Patreon!Relax and enjoy 🍿🌿WANT TO WATCH IN DUB?SYNC ALONG LINK: https://youtu.be/5a8W-bu-f9kI watched this on Netflix
