somn i've been poking at on stream for a few weeks off and on; some pretty standard size diff / macro stuff. my interest in size difference is pretty up there but i don't draw a lot of it -- as most of what i draw are one-character pinups, ahaaa,
this is subtle but (way) overshaded to try and get the point across Sonic is a parade balloon entity here. "why not use seams...?" every time i see a parade balloon with pooltoy seams it hits me like when people have a balloonie character with a pooltoy valve. it just doesn't... mesh proper, for me. i am a very 'whatever, style is style, to each their own' -- but for my specific work im very Me about it.
i really love ambulatory parade balloon stuff but shading it is kind of a nightmare as 90% of the 'this is a parade balloon' information comes from how light bounces off of the material and im just Not At That Level Yet. at the very least he looks artificial so im happy w/ it.
