Greetings patrons!
After last week's ankle twisting, I've been pretty tired and recovering, so I've been playing a lot of Pokémon Legends Arceus. I finished the main storyline and am enjoying doing lots of tasks and catching more Bidoofs (the truest joy). My most important Pokémon has become a big Gallade. I love him.
I also spent some time visiting family and kind of rounding off the holidays with them. We had a big dinner and I took a drive around the Trossachs with my granddad, which was nice. I love to see one thousand sheep in different fields. Sheep have a good time in those fields.
(note to self: draw some sheep)
I'm currently reading a book called Elizabeth and her German Garden, which is a pretty funny 19th century book about a woman who convinces her loser husband to get her a nice house in the country where she can plant nasty flowers. My grandma gave it to me at Christmas, and I'm enjoying it a lot. My first gorgeous book of the year. I'm tentatively hoping to read a lot in 2023, but I don't think I'll set a goal for it, I'll just vaguely try to keep reading a lot.
So this has been a fairly leisurely week. I hope I'll feel a bit more energised in the coming one. My ankle is healing well, so I can walk around a bit now and it seems like a relatively light strain all things considered. I'm trying to stay off it as much as possible though. I have to start working on a new animation, so I think that and just doodling some things are gonna be my next major priorities. Doodle a little caterpillar and stay off my feet.
Hope you had a cool week!
All the best,
Lilly
