DESCRIPTION

Here’s a quick little 4th of July drop that’s a bit different from the usual can holder stuff.

This is a fully 3D printed sparkler holder designed to give your sparkler more fun feel while you’re using it.

The holder has been tested with a variety of sparklers, from the larger wooden-stick style sparklers down to the smaller thin-wire ones. To use it, just push the stick/wire end into the holder. There is no separate clamp, hardware, or extra retention piece. The internal shape is designed to grip the sparkler as it is inserted while also preventing it from being pushed in too far.

This is made from plastic, and plastic plus fire is obviously something to treat with common sense. This is not being presented as a safety device, fireproof part, or anything like that. It does not replace normal sparkler/firework caution, and it does not make sparklers safe for unsupervised use. Please use this outdoors, keep water nearby, and supervise kids exactly as you normally would with sparklers.

The design is intended to keep the lit portion of the sparkler several inches away from the printed part when inserted correctly. That said, this is probably best treated as a one-night holiday accessory. Use it for the 4th, have fun with it, and don’t expect it to be a forever tool.

Print-wise, this is split into two printed parts:

The outer “pop” section prints with color changes for the three stripes.

The handle/stick section prints separately to save time and material.

The two parts screw together.

No extra hardware is needed.

As always, change the colors however you want. I have it set up in the red/white/blue layout for the 4th, but the model itself is pretty flexible.

Please be smart with it. It’s a fun little sparkler accessory, not a safety product.
