DESCRIPTION

Far away from the chaotic ruins of Kuoh Town, Finn brought Akeno and Asia on a leisurely trip to Mie Prefecture. It is a breathtaking coastal region, famously known as the sacred domain of Amaterasu, the supreme Sun Goddess of the Shinto Pantheon.

Because the legendary Ise Grand Shrine was located here, the tension surrounding their visit was suffocating. Yet, despite the invisible crosshairs trained on them by the terrified local deities, Finn and his group strolled through the coastal streets with the bright, carefree attitudes of standard vacationers.

If Finn was being entirely honest with himself, they were acting like the absolute worst kind of foreign tourists. Backed by a coalition army of Chinese Demons, Indian Maruts, and elite Devil soldiers, Finn's group carelessly wandered around, effectively holding the entire prefecture hostage. Their mere presence was a massive, humiliating slap in the face to the local culture. They were casually disrespecting boundaries, yet absolutely no one dared to step forward and stop them.

Instead of sparking a bloody, immediate war, it had turned into a genuinely fun, all-expenses-paid trip.

Yet, while Finn's group enjoyed the sights, the Japanese supernatural side was practically suffering collective heart failure. Finn hadn't killed anyone in Mie. He hadn't fired a single demonic blast. But simply breathing their air while holding an army at their throat was driving the local Gods insane with anxiety.

Finn knew exactly how irrational the supernatural factions could be. Gods and Yokai were creatures built on pride. He knew they were itching to roar, draw their blades, and slaughter the arrogant Devil defiling their sacred land.

He didn't care. In fact, he actively wanted them to snap.

Finn's strategy was ruthless and highly calculated. He wanted the Shinto Faction to lose control of their emotions and attack his group first. If they struck with the intent to kill, Finn would officially possess a casus belli—a legally and politically bulletproof justification for absolute war. With a valid reason, he could butcher the Pantheon and completely dominate the country's supernatural infrastructure without Sirzechs or the other Maous interfering.

Was his line of thinking deeply problematic? Absolutely.

But history was written by the victors. The ancient Crusades were built on labeling rivals as heretics to justify total domination. Finn was a Devil; expecting him to act like a benevolent saint was just delusional.

"Should we take a rest, Finn-sama?" Akeno purred softly, pressing her lush chest against his arm and looking up at him with deep, adoring eyes.

"Finn-sama, please try this! It's so delicious!" Asia chimed in, holding up a piece of sweet Akafuku Mochi they had just bought at a nearby market stall.

Finn opened his mouth, allowing the cute nun to feed him. He chewed thoughtfully and nodded. "Okay. Let's find a place to rest for a bit."

He genuinely needed a break. Constantly plotting strategic wars, fighting Longinus users, and executing Fallen Angel Cadres was exhausting work. His mind was incredibly tense. A brief vacation was necessary to recharge, though he remained entirely prepared to unleash hell if a war broke out.

"Where are we going next?" Irina asked cheerfully, carelessly munching on her own mochi as she tagged along with the group.

"...."

Finn stopped and stared at the shameless, twin-tailed exorcist. He genuinely wondered how her brain functioned. Had she already completely forgotten Kokabiel's revelation from just a few hours ago? The Cadre had screamed that the Biblical God was dead.

If her God was truly dead, how could Irina remain so bubbly and calm? Did she even possess genuine faith to begin with?

Looking at this deeply perverted young woman—who constantly fantasized about him dominating her while she desperately tried to frame it as a 'holy test of endurance'—Finn could only marvel at the fact that she was originally destined to become an Angel in the main timeline.

"Did you just think something incredibly rude about me?" Irina narrowed her eyes, stopping mid-chew.

"I did," Finn answered bluntly.

"...Was it something highly perverted?" Irina's face instantly flushed a brilliant, heavy crimson as her imagination ran wild.

"....."

Finn merely sighed, completely speechless. He turned his head to look at her stoic partner. "Xenovia, has the Church always been this deeply corrupted?"

"Isn't that ancient news, Finn-sama?" Xenovia replied with a perfectly deadpan expression.

"..."

Finn fell silent. She had a point. Between the horrific Excalibur experiments, the rogue factions, and the rampant heresy, institutional corruption in the Church was practically a given. While a few genuinely good believers existed, many high-ranking priests were significantly worse than actual Devils.

"Should we head to the shrine now?" Finn suggested casually.

"...."

The entire group instantly fell completely silent. They all stared at him with deeply nervous expressions.

They knew exactly which shrine he was talking about. He wasn't aiming for a random tourist trap; he was marching them directly to the Ise Grand Shrine—the absolute spiritual epicenter of the Japanese people and the literal home of Amaterasu-Omikami.

To put it in perspective, Finn was a high-ranking Devil casually suggesting they go vandalize the Shinto equivalent of Mecca or the Vatican.

Despite their terror, the group obediently followed him.

As Finn's terrifying entourage approached the sacred, wooden gates of the Ise Shrine, the unseen Shinto deities watching from the spiritual plane nearly had a collective stroke. The sheer, suffocating pressure of Finn's Demonic Power, mixed with the divine aura of Indra's Maruts and Sun Wukong's Yokai energy, was overwhelming. Yet, not a single Shinto God dared to manifest and block his path.

Finn stood before the sacred gates, his hands tucked casually into his pockets. He stared into the serene, quiet courtyard for a long moment.

"Keep your human followers on a leash," Finn stated, his voice carrying perfectly through the spiritual veil. "Or else, I will return and permanently level this place."

He waited in silence, fully hoping for a furious reaction from the Sun Goddess. A lightning bolt, a divine threat, anything.

Unfortunately, there was absolutely no response. Amaterasu refused to take the bait.

Finn sighed, slightly disappointed, and shook his head. "Let's head back. I heard there's a historical ninja village nearby. Let's go visit that instead."

"Ninjas!" Irina and Asia cheered, their tension instantly vanishing as they happily followed him away from the sacred grounds.

While Finn's group cheerfully continued their detour, the spiritual realm of Japan was boiling over with absolute, unadulterated rage.

The Shinto deities were furious. However, they were too terrified to direct their divine wrath at Finn's coalition army. Instead, they aimed their absolute fury at the foolish humans who had originally provoked the Balam heir and brought this calamity to their shores.

If the human clans hadn't arrogantly hired the Hero Faction to assassinate Finn, none of this would be happening!

Since the Gods couldn't punish the Devil, they would ruthlessly punish their own believers. The Five Principal Clans were about to face a horrifying, divine consequence.

None of that mattered to Finn.

Later that evening, he was comfortably lounging on the expansive, open-air balcony of a luxury villa overlooking the dark, peaceful waters of Ise Bay.

The night was serene. The tension of the day had finally melted away.

But as he sat in the quiet dark, the soft, deliberate sound of footsteps echoed on the wooden floorboards.

A figure was slowly stepping out onto the balcony, moving closer and closer to him in the moonlight.
