The vote results are in! So this month's results was interesting. Nothing really stood out as a community favorite. While I've tried to make the suggestions as diverse as possible, sci fi month in general seems to be lagging behind Fantasy and Grimdark in interest over the past year. If community members have any suggestions on how to alter that trend, please let me know.
But taking into account the results and the shorter month, I'll put the Gundam, Ripley and Johnny Silverhand suggestions in next month's slot. I do want to do the Deathclaw vs Supermutants but Fallout has been dominating a lot of the sci fi month releases lately so maybe it's better to switch it up a little. I'll put the Deathclaw vs Supermutants in the 'to do' queue. If there's enough time, maybe I'll include the Deathclaw but I always like to plan conservatively for shorter months.
Okay, got one final Fantasy WIP to show! As promised, this month's original characters will have a campfire diorama where the Griffin Rider shares some marshmallows with her companion. Yum!
And for bonus content, this month's bonus character will be Deedlit (and Zeedlit) from Record of Lodoss War. While I've never really been into these franchises, they were suggestions from a long term community member who has always been very helpful in the background. To show my appreciation, I wanted to do something that member would like. Thanks for all the help over the years! 👍
And finally, I'm starting to make preparations for my next 'Who Would You Cast' Primarch. For newcomers, this is a fun game where community members get to suggest their ideal candidate for one of Big E's sons and vote on it in a poll. The first was appropriately the Lion and the community chose Karl Urban.
I've decided the next Primarch to get the celebrity treatment will be Sanguinius, I really don't think that needs any explanation. 😄 Glory to the Great Angel! 👍
So in these early steps, I'm collecting community suggestions for who your preferred actor. Please add them to this suggestion box. The actual 'who will you cast poll' will be up in February along with the Grimdark polls. A couple community members have already suggested Alexander Skarsgård to me, probably due to his audition tape from True Blood. 😉
Anyways, I gotta prepare for Sci Fi month. Full Fantasy release details will be in next month's public post but as usual it's all the WIP stuff from this month. See you in Night City!
