The Fantasy poll results are in! But first this month's bonus character, Terry Crews as a fancasted version of Vulkan!
So this fancast was actually a request from one of my oldest community members. That member is a big fan of Terry Crews the actor and if memory serves, actually met the celebrity in person. I've also enjoyed a lot of Mr. Crews filmography (Everybody Hates Chris, Idiocracy and Brooklyn 99 off the top of my head).
Anyways, years ago I promised that member I would make a Terry Crews version of the 18th Primarch but the opportunity never really came up. However, with this month's Master Crafted Salamander Terminators, it felt like the stars finally aligned and was the best time to get this request done. 👍
So Terry the Master Smith will come with two head versions and two new poses. The thumbs up pose is kind of a joke but I did always imagine Vulkan being more light hearted and encouraging to his sons than many of the other Primarchs. After all, the best reward a Space Marine can receive is recognition from his gene-father. 😄
Okay, so going back to the poll results it looks like a three way tie between the unique vampires, the Spelljammer/Fantasy Airship and Heroes of the Lance. That's an...interesting split and I'm honestly not too sure how much I could fit in. 😅 But I'll work on the unique vampires and Spelljammer ship first and see if there's any space in the rest of the month for the Heroes of the Lance characters. Dragonlance fans, which character should I work on first when I can get to them (Tanis Half-Elven, Caramon Majere, someone else)?
Alrighty, that's another Grimdark Month in the bag! As usual, everything done this month will be in next month's release.
Sorry, I couldn't fit in the Space Wolves version this month but I'll keep it in the to do list and make it my next priority for the Grimdark lineup. Terry the Master Smith will be in a new MMF set as I've hit the upload limit. For eligible members, it should just show up in your library but if it doesn't please let me know and I'll resend the link.
