Chained to Destiny on Friday...

About work...

Well, another week of getting a bit stuck on the code. I finally think I have everything I need, though it might not be the best way to do it. The game works the way I want it to, and that’s good enough for me.

Now I need a few weeks to finish adding the expressions, review the text, and do the English translation. Plus, I’m pretty sure I’ll find a few bugs here and there, but nothing that will cause the game to crash.

Aside from the time spent on the game, I’ve finished two commissions; I think you can find them on Discord or here.

I’ll be accepting a few more commissions soon, but first I want to finish the first game update, upload it here to test it, and then release it as a demo on Steam.

I mentioned before that I’d written some stuff for the second update and made a few drafts, right? Just in case I didn’t say it, now you know.

I’ve also made a bit of progress on the exclusive comic, and I managed to put together a decent livestream by mirroring my iPad screen on Windows so I could use OBS. I’m not sure what the best time to stream would be, but I’ve been so busy lately that sometimes I can only do test runs.

Proof of work, an inked panel for the new comic, featuring Eloise.

The picture...

Sandra Mozarowsky in El Mariscal del Infierno (The Marshal from Hell) (1974).

I’ve seen reviews of Paul Naschy’s films on a YouTube channel called Videobuck. Apparently, this guy loves horror movies and has made a lot of them here in Spain.

I have to admit that I didn’t know about these movies until a few months ago, thanks to that channel.

As usual, these horror movies always featured a beautiful woman.

Enjoy the frame.

Aside work...

Just a normal week, nothing much to report.

This game is strange, like a dream; I’m really curious to find out what the hell is going on with the monolith and all that. I like the diorama-like look of the maps, but for some reason the game feels small to me.

A great story in a small game; I think that’s a good way to sum up how I feel about it right now.

I’m about to finish the book on cognitive wars; there isn’t a single page without interesting information.

I already have the next one I’m going to read: The Epic of Gilgamesh. I got a heavily annotated edition; those books are more interesting for the notes than for the content itself.

And… that’s it, I guess…

The song...

Why not some classic hit?

Queen - I'm Going Slightly Mad

I hope everyone is doing well. I’d especially like to thank those of you who are supporting me during these turbulent times; I know it’s not easy, and I want you to know that I truly appreciate it.

Thank you so much for your support!

Please take good care of yourselves and stay safe!
