About work...
I've made progress on my next personal comic; this time it's about the classic Eloise working at a coffee shop. Aside from that, I've finished adding the expressions to the first game update.
Now I have to prepare the translation to send for review and add the music. I also need to create some images for the gallery mode and the settings menu.
After all that, I need to review the combat system again, because I’ve noticed something odd lately; I think I’m using the code incorrectly to add attack variables, but I think I can fix it.
Once I’m done with the game and waiting for the translation, I’ll take on a few more commissions.
Also, I'm planning a contest; it's been years since the last one, hasn't it? This time, you'll have to show off your knowledge of my work and the history of my games to win the classic Eloise mug!

Aside work...
This week I went to the doctor with my girlfriend so she could get some tests done, and we had to drive to town, which is why I'm more tired than usual. Not a single day goes by without some kind of surprise on the road. People who brake suddenly, others who swerve into the oncoming lane, and animals that can jump onto the road at any moment... I guess you have the same problem, wherever you are, right?
I haven’t started The Epic of Gilgamesh yet, because I’ll probably read some books first that a very kind woman lent me; I’ll tell you about them soon. A few weeks ago I started going to a book club where you don’t have to read anything specific.
The idea is to read in silence, each person a different book; you don’t have to bring one—you can pick one up at the bookstore and start reading. After an hour, there’s a table where people talk about their books. I had a great time there...
I think I’m about to finish Expedition 33; I won’t spoil the story, but I like how they have an explanation for everything. It’s not my favorite, but it’s a great game.
