Hey everyone,
Apologies for the delay! We wanted to get this update out earlier but, y’know. Real life gets in the way. Hopefully things are getting back on track, though.
This update covers another day of Nate’s route, and a very important one at that. Things come to a head for our darling cat and fox… will things ever be back the way they used to be? Or were things never how they seemed in the first place?
On the art side, Candace is FINALLY out of sketch prison, and able to breathe free as a fully colored sprite with multiple expressions. I really, really love how she came out, and I hope you guys do too! Candace was our last black and white sketch from back when the game started. I’m almost gonna miss her old lopsided face, hehe. I intend to keep this momentum and work on the rest of the sprites that only have flats left. I think, in the coming update, we might be out of WIP sprites entirely. What a grand day that’ll be!
(If anyone remembers, Shay’s reworked sprite still hasn’t been finished because I lost the poor girl’s PSD file while transferring data on another hard drive… so I’ll have to redo her once more. Oops.)
Some of you all might have noticed, but there hasn’t been any brand-new CGs in a while. Truth is, I’ve been so busy with commission work and sprites I haven’t had time to dedicated entirely to them, but I do intend to go back and add new CGs to Nate’s previous updates… and more, as well. You’ll see what I mean soon! Very soon, even.
Anyway, I say this every time, and I always mean it: thank you guys for tagging along on this journey with us. I hope you stick with us til the end! It truly means the world to us.
