The Book of Annwyn - Character Introductions: Brenan, Amber, Thun & Rhogar

Hey guys!

We're approaching the end of the year and I thought you'd be interested in a little project update for our upcoming RPG!

Courtesy of Tealfox (@TLFX_art), we now have some early sprites to work with for the main cast! I've also written up some small character introductions to give you a taste of who they are and what the story's going to be about.

Brenan:

A young wolf on the run after the mysterious disappearance of his professor. Expelled from the Arcane University and blamed for the incident, Brenan knows there is more than meets the eye to the situation. Following leads from his research, he seeks to protect the world from an impending apocalypse that few are able to see coming. Now on a ship ride to Port Vermillion, Brenan does his best to hide his identity as he attempts to reconnect with a figure from his past.

Amber:

A “circus freak” exploited for her unusual birth, Amber is a fox born into the role of Fire Elemental, one of four individuals harnessing the unfiltered potential of their birth element. Performing as part of the billionaire Jezter’s troupe, Amber travels the world witnessing freedom but never experiencing it herself. Despite everything, Amber keeps her head up high because she knows she is destined for something greater.

Thun:

Journeying on a pilgrimage after leaving the Shangrian monastery, the white tiger Thun arrives at Port Vermillion just in time for the annual celebration of the end of the Shangri-Candrovian war. An outgoing and curious individual, Thun makes it his goal to befriend his hooded wolf bunkmate from the ship ride to port, unwittingly drawing himself into a mystery with apocalyptic stakes.

Rhogar:

A surviving dragonian soldier from the Shangri-Candrovian war, Rhogar has found himself in a quiet pseudo-retirement as captain of the guard at Port Vermillion. Strict and no-nonsense, Rhogar follows a tip he receives about a suspicious wolf in attendance at this year’s celebration of the end of the Shangri-Candrovian war. Nothing is going to disrupt the celebration under his watch, and he is willing to put his career on the line to make sure of it.
