Greetings,
Sorry, a bit late today but here we go. I couldn't get much done this week due to real life work and being abroad a few days, having technical problems with my pc and some real life topics that came up.
I'm starting to find my way around posing in Blender but it's quite slow. The editor is quite slow so I still need to figure out how to speed things up from a technical perspective. From the usage point of view I'm getting a hang on slowly. For comparison, the scene above would have taken me 5- 10 minutes to pose from start in Daz3D. In Blender I needed over 30 minutes.
The above image may not be final but would be part of the first scene in the next season.
Next week
Next week I'll finish the extra scene and give it to review before releasing it to patreon. I'm not sure if I'll make it to start the release of this scene next weekend or if I'll take some time for that in the next "Blender week".
Post work
I upgraded my DaVinci version which I already had to the newest version and started to setup my post work pipeline. The switch from After Effects to DaVinci is much less problematic than from Daz3D/Cinema4D to Blender. At least that's something.
However, I'm still tweaking my node setup for color grading and experiment with different effects.
Technical issues
My monitor had glitches which I tried to figure out with not too much of a result. I cleaned my entire setup and updated all drivers and at some point it started to work again. However, I'm still worried about my main monitor dying on me or even worse my gpu. So I'm looking for a new monitor for just in case.
