We're currently at 2,080 renders, and MICHE is still working on the animations.
I've finally found a solution to the saves issue, and I'll be sending out the test version this weekend. All the translation and gameplay are complete. All that's left is to work on the animations and finish 100-150 renders and test everything. The test will take a long time because the update is long, maybe too long.
I hadn't expected it to take me this long to finish this update. There are so many scenes, characters, and events, and I didn't want to cut anything so I could wrap up the prologue with this update.
All in all, it took almost 3 months, and I think that's the minimum for a game like ATC. SMTL is simpler because there are fewer events and scenes, so it only takes 2 months to have an interesting update.
The release date for the top tiers will be July 11, followed by CURIOUS one week later, and SHY two weeks after CURIOUS.
I'd rather take a few extra days to make sure I test all the paths, options and all the scenes, and that way give the testers time to iron out the bugs and translation errors.
A while back, I conducted a poll to find out whether you preferred frequent updates or longer updates, and the vast majority of you said you wanted longer updates.
So I’m giving you what you want, and believe me, I’m devoting all my time to it.
We’ll talk about all of this in much more detail after the update is released.
There won't be a DEVLOG next week, since we'll either have released the PREALPHA or be in the testing phase. I will, however, post some 4K images and spoilers.
DLC
I've been following the controversies surrounding the DLC very closely. I have to admit that I couldn't care less about what's being said on forums and places, but your comments here, and messages on Discord made me realize that I couldn't just force anything on you, so as promised, here's the poll.
If you want to keep the DLC for trans characters, you can vote “yes”; if you vote “no,” the trans characters will appear in the game without the DLC and will therefore become full girls.
