I am still recovering from the double-whammy of Heroes Con and the signing at Four Color Fantasies, which was supposed to be the end of the Nerd Inferno tour. Both events were fantastic, and they're now blurring, except for Frnak, the little pug I met at FCF and wished I could have taken home with me. He's adorable and gentle and I think smaller than Winky. I miss the little guy!
Thanks to everyone who came out to the last two events, thanks to Erik and Lori and everyone at Four Color. And thanks to Frank. The real hit of the tour.
I'm so tired it's not funny. I got back from Heroes on the 15th and slept a lot and then left for VA on the 19th. The signing went nice and long and was a lot of fun. The next day I drove to my brother's house in NJ for a family dinner, then went home to pass out. After spending some catch-up time with Winky, of course.

Slept through Monday, only got out of bed yesterday because I had a follow-up appointment at the dentist. Fortunately that went well, I didn't need any work done. Shopped for groceries and supplies and went home to crash out again. I'm probably going to crash out again in a little while. I'm feeling my age and then some.
I have about a month to sleep and catch up on things before the tour revs up again for a one-day event that involves plane tickets. I assume that will be announced soon. With the news that Dark Horse Comics is returning to NYCC in October, I'm hoping to be able to do a signing at their booth during the show. Finally, I will be at the first-ever Comicopia Con in Atlanta GA on November 7-8. So, the tour proper is finished, but I'll be going to a few more places before the year's out.
I just got the numbers on the sold-out first printing of Nerd Inferno and they were about twice what I was hoping for. Which is wild. The second printing is scheduled to be available on July 3rd, so everyone who wants a copy should finally be able to get one in about two weeks or so. Thanks to everyone for their support of the book and the signing. Thank you so much.
The only downside of the tour has been that my back and arm/hand are in a lot of pain after all the signing, sketching, sitting and driving. I'm going to have to hit the doctors up for my back especially, I'm having trouble bending over and getting up. It's a reminder of my age, which I try to ignore as much as possible. But the meat and wiring gets the final say. Oy.
Regular posting will hopefully resume soon. Thanks for dealing with the impact that the tour has had on the Patreon. I've got a lot of catching up to do, on work, correspodence, business, cleaning up the wreck the studio's in. And sleep. And I still haven't finished volume one of Billy Bat.
I might do a tour photo dump. Wish I had time to have taken more pictures!
More soon, later.
Thanks again, folks.
A number of folks came out to the Four Color signing in Eltingville cosplay. Amazing!
