Some of the new stuff coming up in the fourth print book. I really like this image of Ana and Prakhuta, and the new chapter 14 content restores some things I'd cut. One bit is to do with the origin of Vampire's name, and the other shows that Duane pushed his kids into the chapel with that lion by casting out of his tacit port. It's the only time he's ever done it and he's always told himself it only worked because Ssael made it so. His hands were busy trying to suck up the incoming explosion, after all, so he had no other choice.
Sorry about the break this week. The original submission deadline for book 4 was July 15. I got them to give me until August, but I really wanted to try and get as close to the original deadline as possible, so the prepress guy has all the time he needs to make things pretty. Even with the family angst this week, I should pretty nearly get there.
