Two pages today! Woo, that dashing Private Lilleord! What a catch! And woo, that dastardly Private Goodwin, he's kind of a prick! Well, everyone's blood is running hot, as they say.
This is an ideal spot for a week's hiatus before the Kickstarter starts. I should have book 4 completely done and to the prepress guy next week so I can get back to focusing on the webcomic in the way I prefer. I'm really proud of the upcoming pages but it's been frustrating trying to balance them with editing the new book. I pulled it off though, I think!
And fuck but did I have a day. My dad decided to have his second heart attack this morning, so I spent a few hours with him in the ICU. They have to crack his chest open for bypass surgery on Monday and I'm pretty confident he'll make it through fine, but my mom's a basketcase and has required a lot of Ashley time today, and probably will continue to through the next few weeks. I'll try not to let it interfere with work, especially with the Kickstarter starting JULY 20th! There's really no delaying that, so I gotta be on like Donkey Kong, family drama aside.
In the meantime, who do you reckon is gonna win this fight? The wrights seem pretty tough :3
