So, I've started writing on Leviathan and, well.
It's not working.
It's too much a slog, too much high concept stuff trying to be done. Basically, it's boring, and I'm not sure how to fix it. I had this problem before, and I have to completely rethink the story if I want to salvage it. Casual Blasphemy started life in a similar manner. So basically, I'm going to swap to the bounty hunter story that was a lot more fun both to write and to read.
However, this was planned as the interstitial filler until Leviathan got going, so I'm not sure how to go forward here, considering I have over 20k words on each story. I still need to build up my backlog, so I'm going to run a quick poll for people to tell me what I should do.
Note to self: don't do polls on stories anymore, you don't know enough until you've gotten a bunch of chapters done.
