The Plan Going Forward

Pursuant to the poll, here's what's going to happen.

As noted, the next story is as-yet-untitled bounty hunter story. Both my editor and my sorta-betareader, a friend of coughtoomanydecadescough are very pleased with it, while neither of them were truly feeling Leviathan as it stood, so hopefully you all will like it too. It's inspired by The Archive In-Between, for what it's worth.

As of today, billing is on pause for a month. With how much I currently have written on the story, that should give me enough time to recapture the backlog that has been slowly shrinking since the beginning of SDE. Moving combined with the last book of OIM being pretty rough to finish pretty much ate it all.

I will continue to release the final OIM for 4-ahead patrons each week. For you guys, the month pause will actually take place six weeks from now, just so you aren't stopped in the middle of the story.

I'm targeting Aug 21 for the release of chapter one of the new story.

I'm really unhappy about Leviathan not working out, especially since I should have known better. I start five or six stories for every one that I actually write, and most don't make it past the first three to five chapters. I need that amount of words to know whether it has legs or not, so just writing one chapter in haste and putting it up as an option was a really stupid idea. I won't be doing that anymore, since I certainly don't want to get into the habit of not delivering.

In consideration of the above, while I still want to do Casual Blasphemy, the bounty hunter story has a lot in common with it! So, I can't promise it at this point, as the bounty hunter story may tell the same story. We'll see where we are when the bounty hunter story ends (also I need a title for it so I can start calling it something coherent.).
