...I feel I have neglected you all! And I don't know if it's even worth saying happy new year this far in?
I've been quiet because I've been so busy. Not just with a move back to Spain (for a while), but with Complete English for Spanish speakers which I'm looking to begin recording here asap before turning my attentions back to Intro to Japanese.
The longer I do this, the more precise I want to be with my writing - with the experience I impart. This means things take longer, but it also means I enjoy it more and that the product is better. That's so important, even if everyone was happy with the previous standard! The higher the bar is raised, the more testament this project makes regarding what can be achieved, and that's important to educational culture as a whole. If I can't build a team or penetrate the mainstream or grow in that way, I can set the example to aspire to, and to inspire. At the same time, we (I include everyone who shares LT) create an army of learners who are no longer happy with the obvious lack of effort gone into other learning material, and who begin to openly demand more. Thank you for being agents of all this change!
I did consider making an in-depth exposé in this update about how little my offers for free workshops were taken advantage of in the UK and what that says about the state of the culture generally and the corruption of the third sector specifically but writing well takes a lot of time, and what we want from me are language courses. So all I'll share from the UK for now is that, and my little jar of frosted sea glass collected from a year of walks on the beach!
There have been some adjustments to the perks just to reflect the postage price tariffs in Spain as opposed to the UK, so the 100gram packs are now 150gram packs and there are no 250gram packs anymore, only 500 gram packs, so things have been tweaked accordingly - it works out as more for everyone though!
