This post is all about you and your membership (I don't have much to share, other than that I continue to work very hard on Complete English for Spanish speakers as per the last post).
I love the idea of the sharer packs and physical merch, but the truth is that not many of you claim them, and when you do - it's hit or miss! Dealing with international post offices has driven me to the brink of madness more than once - packs go out around the world and come back because the receiver isn't notified to collect them, or just go missing etc. At the moment, from Spain to the US, I'm unable to send packs because the US made tariff changes back in October (which in the UK delayed post by just one day) but in Spain, I still can't send merch with ordinary post, which means the smallest pack is 2 kilo and 22 euro. So US packs are on hold until Spain sorts it out or I return to the UK. An absolutely ridiculous situation.
Coming close to giving up on the packs altogether as the dysfunction of these companies consumes my own time, I had a great idea! I want to give you more perks like the Interlinear eBooks which you can use for your learning, and I also want to help serious, genuine creators of learning material raise the bar with me. So, I have a very important question for you. What do you find useful and feel gels in some way or another with how you learn to learn here? What material helps you think and practice your new language? What material feels like there are people genuinely interested in learning behind it?
