I've had a few people ask me about the logistics of having children in this version of reality. How would it work if everyone is having a lot of kids all the time? The short answer is: I have no idea. And to be quite honest, I don't really care. This is just to move the plot along.
But I have to admit, as plot points go, I think it's really a good one. And pretty funny! Especially because pregnancy is a common furry kink, but dealing with the consequences of that pregnancy is often either hand-waved away, or ignored entirely. That's pretty much what I'm doing here.
I also kind of like the implication that pregnancy (and by extension, giving birth) is like a recreational kind of thing in this version of reality. And probably quite enjoyable. They were obviously very excited about being knocked up a few pages ago. And evidently they did this with the full knowledge that they'd be heavily pregnant for at least a couple of days. And then give birth, and then probably do it all again at the next frat party! It seems like it should be completely unsustainable. But that's one of the things I love about hyper: the ridiculously over-exaggerated versions of a reality that are obviously not possible, and yet still all work just fine. But of course, Quentin doesn't know anything about that.
