DESCRIPTION
I think many people have experienced some version of this: when you're trying to make an excuse to gracefully exit a situation, only to have someone else immediately and unintentionally point out a glaring flaw in your white lie. I tried to capture that feeling here.
Putting Quentin through this roller coaster of emotions has been a lot of fun. It's really been pushing me as an artist to draw such a variety of expressions, and to make his reactions varied but believable. When it all works out it's really encouraging for me.
