As promised in the post for the first poll story, I wrote a second story for the month of March, since I just couldn't decide between the two prompts tied for first place. Because it's being posted nearly halfway through the month, I will be waiting until next month to release it instead of the end of April. Specifically, this story will be released to the publicly released on May 15th, Please do not publicly share it until that date.
An adventuring party accidentally unseals the ancient Mother Goddess, the spirit of the Earth itself, sealed away long ago in an underground ruin. The Goddess, overjoyed that she has finally been released so that she may once again share her love with the world, decides to reward the kind adventurers who released her… In the process, shedding some light on why exactly she was sealed away in the first place.
The adventurers who released her, as it turns out, are none other that the descendants of those who sealed her away all those many years ago. But she doesn't harbor any ill will towards them or their ancestors. After all, a proper mother always loves her children even when they’re naughty, and is patient and forgiving with them when they make what was obviously a silly mistake born of youthful ignorance. A mistake that she's finally able to correct.
She rewards them by “allowing” them be the first to feel her overwhelming, smothering love and have it sculpt their bodies, minds and souls into new, beautiful and fertile forms. The hapless adventurers come out of the molding embrace of their new Goddess and Mother as perfectly identical and loving daughters: one with the clay of the Earth and one with her love, as she plans to go forth with them and share this love with all who live...
Once again, this story will be released to the public on Thursday, May 15th, 2026. Please do not share this story until that time, thank you once again for your support, and enjoy!
