Spent a little bit more time on these two than the previous quick pieces, sort of gauging how an extra couple of hours will impact them. Did these two over two days each instead of just in one sitting each. I do really like finishing something in one sitting, it makes me feel productive and avoids stress related to unfinished pieces. But I guess there is also something to be said for being able to let the piece percolate through my brain over night when doing them over two days instead. New connections and ideas pop up in my head that can be implemented. So there are pros and cons!
Here are the ideas I worked with this time:
I wanted to revisit the cultist woman from a previous piece. Sort of a portrait piece, but I thought it'd be fun to have her framed by the bodies of her friends there.
Another portrait piece, this time touching on the concept of aphrodisiac incense created from the fruits I've drawn earlier. There are fun ideas I could explore more there!
