This demo focuses on a female side-profile portrait. I’ll walk you through the full coloring process, from blocking in flat colors to final refinement, helping you build a clear and stable understanding of facial lighting and shadow. You’ll learn how to set up the light source and quickly establish a two-tone (light and shadow) structure, then unify the overall lighting, enhance highlights on the light-facing areas of the face and hair, and finally refine the occlusion shadows and warm–cool contrast. This allows the image to balance softness and sharpness, resulting in stronger volume and a more polished finish.
