Sorry for the long silence. I thought I’d manage to get the new release done in time and that the next post would be a Tsunade Scroll update T_T
As I said before, the next "update" for TLK will be its full Steam release. All that’s left is to add the ending and do the final polishing. At this point, the game is fully drawn and animated.
Before releasing TLK, we need to put out a Tsunade Scroll update and show a new demo of Magical Lessons for steam release promotion.
Tsunade Scroll — right now, about half of what’s realistically possible has been done, so it’s basically version 0.5, which we’ll release gradually (we originally wanted to make the whole game at once, but even this turned out to be a huge amount of work for a side project).
Magical Lessons — at some point we ran into the need to implement a duel system. I found a programmer, he started working on the project, and while the duels still aren’t finished in the final version, the project has been restructured so it won’t be as painful to work with as it was with TLK. Plus, a ton of mechanics have been added that I would never have been able to do myself.
Anyway, today a cross-promo post will go out, this week we’ll release the Tsunade Scroll update, and later — a new Magical Lessons demo and the TLK Steam release, probably this summer.
