So, basically, after writing the last chapter, my brain started doing that thing where it looks at the next chapter and immediately starts hissing and sparking. I didn’t want to just sit there and force myself into writer’s block, so I did something fun instead.
I was scrolling Pinterest, saw some of those Marvel Rivals-style character pages, and immediately thought: okay, but what if Mass Effect had something like this?
So now we have Mass Effect: Assets.
This is basically a character dossier / roster-card style page for Zedd Victors, done like he’s a playable unit in some fake Mass Effect hero shooter that exists only in my head.
His role is Arsenalist, because everything else doesn’t really cover a walking illegal armory with opinions.
The idea is that the four Mass Effect: Assets stats are:
Combat — how dangerous they are in a straight fight.Power — biotics, tech, psionics, special systems, and general ability output.Survival — armor, shields, durability, endurance, and how hard they are to actually put down.Utility — hacking, drones, support value, prep, battlefield control, logistics, and all the stuff that makes a character useful beyond just shooting something in the face.
Also, the bio/note on the page is written from Commander John Shepard’s perspective in-universe. I liked how it came out. Might do more of these for other characters if the brain worms continue cooperating.
