I am happy to bring you Entry #3 of the Monster Hunter Journal -- the Vampire!
One of the most famous and ubiquitous creatures of all fantasy, this version focuses on a monstrous creature that lurks in the night and terrorizes any that walk the shadows of its territory. With legendary strength and agility, this nocturnal predator is rumored to travel silently on large wings, have razor sharp fangs, legendary strength and the curse of hunger that travels in its blood.
“The lips were red, the teeth white, and the eyes gleamed with a sort of demoniac fury… the whole face was wreathed in a ghastly, horrible smile.”
