The Eye See project was my first photographic assignment as a Sony Digital Imaging Ambassador. I was commissioned by Sony's 'World Photography Orgnisation' back in April 2013 to document a youth project in Darwin, Australia with one of my students from RMIT University (Nicholas Walton Healey). My Sony camera gear at the time was the Alpha 99 (A-Mount) camera as the project pre-dates the full-frame E-Mount cameras.
Eye See, Darwin 2013 'Eye See' UNICEF Child Photography Workshop, supported by Sony, helps children develop the ability to express their voices for social issues that directly affect them. Children learn how to express their thoughts and feelings, and communicate with the wider world. Sony hopes that the experience will empower the children and will also help build a brighter future for their communities.
