[Announce] A quarterly cooldown will be implemented starting with this month's Poll

Hello everyone. I hope you are all having a good day.

A short holiday break has begun here, and I’ve heard that it is the same in most other countries. I hope you are all enjoying your rest!

I have given this a lot of thought over the past two weeks, and I have finally decided to proceed. As I mentioned last month, I plan to introduce a quarterly genre cooldown system for the character poll starting this month.

The cooldown applies to each quarter: January to March, April to June, July to September, and October to December. For example, in this April, the character Zenless Zone Zero won, so the cooldown for ZZZ will be in effect until the end of this second quarter. During the remaining months of May and June, the ZZZ character will enter a rest period and will be eligible to apply again starting in the next third quarter, July.

Since it is a quarterly cooldown, the genre of the character that won in June, the last month of the quarter, will be eligible to apply again in July, the start of the next quarter.

Character genres currently in a cooldown will be announced at the top of the [Character poll receive] post and each group's poll post. Please make sure to check the list of works currently in a cooldown.

The cooldown system applies only to the character poll and not to the character roulette.
