As I mentioned in the last update, I've been working on a cinematic animation most of the week. It's a 30-second sequence where most of the girls are in.
The biggest challenge was that I could only load four people at a time, so I had to split the sequence into many saves, removing and adding the girls as they entered or exited the camera view.
It also meant I had to plan the camera path and clip length in advance and make sure no one blocked the lighting, which would have caused lighting differences when I loaded a new character or removed one. I also had to render about twice as many frames as necessary, so there was a bit of overlap between segments in case I had to blend them as I put it all together.
But that's in the past now, as I've completed the animation. 2,214 animation frames were done, and that also completes the 100th animation. In addition, I squeezed in 102 story renders, bringing the story render count to 2,080.
I had a lot of potential preview candidates this week, but I thought this turned out nicely.
Have a nice weekend, and let's hope spring is around the corner if you're freezing out there.
