Hey everyone! Some of you may have noticed that I’ve been posting new videos on TikTok lately. Currently, my plan is to only post videos for newer songs on TikTok.
In my latest video for BABYMONSTER’s “DRIP” (YouTube link), you may have noticed a TikTok credit notice on the left side of the video. This not only helps prevent reposting on TikTok, but also rotates the display of request voters’ names, so that even if the video is cropped to show only the left side on TikTok, the credits for voters will still be visible.
As always, I prioritize video aesthetics, and I realize this addition may affect the look of the videos a bit. For now, though, I haven’t found a better way to ensure credits aren’t easily cropped out. To give you control over this, I’ve added an option to decide whether to include TikTok credits on your request videos. You’ll find this choice on the request detail page, just below the thumbnail settings.
Currently, there are three options:
random_k’s choice (default): I’ll decide whether to include the TikTok credits, I may not add them to every video.
Please include: Credits will definitely be shown in the video.
Don’t include: TikTok credits will not be added.
Similar to the thumbnail setting, only the user with the top vote for a request can adjust this option.
Thank you all for your support and feedback—it helps me continue improving the site and the videos for everyone!
