New PC Build!

Hi everyone!

I’m excited to share that I’ve just completed a major hardware upgrade for my PC. Over the past couple of days, I assembled a brand-new PC. Interestingly, I had purchased the parts before catching a cold, but I only found the time to put everything together after recovering.

This marks the third PC upgrade since I started my YouTube channel. My last upgrade was back in early 2021, so it’s been nearly four years! Looking ahead, my next planned upgrade will be for the Mac Studio I purchased in early 2022. However, due to budget constraints, that upgrade might be postponed. For now, I’ll rely on the new PC for resource-intensive tasks like video rendering, while sticking to the Mac for everyday editing. I’ll consider upgrading the Mac when it starts significantly slowing down my workflow.

In addition to the PC upgrade, I’m planning to set up a 10 Gigabit local network connecting my PC, Mac, and NAS. To make this happen, I’ve also upgraded my network hardware, including a new router, switch, network cards, and cables.

GPU: PNY GeForce RTX 4090

RAM: Asgard 64GB (16GBx4) DDR5 6000

SSD: Netac NV7000 1TB

SSD: Acer N5000 2TB

Power Supply: SAMA XP1000W

I don’t play games, so this PC is entirely dedicated to work. While hardware upgrades can be expensive, I see them as essential. I believe it’s my responsibility to invest in timely upgrades to avoid any hardware-related bottlenecks that might slow down video production.
