Hey everyone, sorry it's been a few days again. More PC trouble unfortunately; I'll make a seperate post about that after this one.
For now, let's focus on this upcoming mod. I initially saw this whilst surfing for inspiration on Pinterest. I knew I had to make it into a mod. But this required alot of work on my end. I had to redraw the tattoo by hand first, to get the best picture quality possible and so I could do Ink Colour Variants. Then I had to paste it onto the body meshes in Blender, via the Blender Stencil too. But the stencil doesn't wrap around the body. So I then had to go and redraw pieces of the tattoo to fill in the gaps.
And I had to do this for each body mod/framework, so yeah it was indeed alot of work.
Here's a look at the finished product (In Blender):
So there you have it! All the ink colours, as well as how it looks on the different Body Mods/Frameworks. There aren't huge differences between VTK/Hyst and KS UV, but I still wanted to showcase them. As for Gymfiend, the body being so wide meant I had to add a couple lines to the tattoo to make it frame the body better. I also painstakingly went over each version to get rid of the wavy lines you get when using Blender Stencil.
I think it came out really good, and I can't wait to get a good PC again so I can take mod page photos; I'll also be taking screenshot submissions on Discord!
For now, I'll go back to working on upcoming mods and looking for a new PC. Which again, you'll see in the next post. I really hope you guys enjoyed getting a proper look at this mod. It was alot of work, but seeing it done is so satisfying. I can't wait to see how it looks on not just my Vs, but other people's Vs as well.
